  1. Can actually anybody confirm from their practical experience R-Max 128 packs as small as PD106R plz?
And if that's the case what the next size up R-Max 138 would be equivalent to volumewise?

  2. Has been using one for about a year - no complaints and easy to operate. I believe that's an excellent alternative to Optima from L&B. I believe Parasport did pretty good job on this one same as Altitron now for nearly 2 years in use - no complaints.

  3. That's interesting
Skytronic FX and Skytronic GFX are completely different devices.
Why would you read reviews on something completely different and then make your decision?
Would you read reviews about original Sabre to decide whether you'd be happy with Sabre 2?

  4. To Sumotony.

What’s the hell is going on here? No profile info whatsoever. Who’s the f… are you? are you trolling people here...??

I knew Serg for about 3 years, he fixed me up with 3 sets of gear over period of time and 6 month ago I handed over to him $9K for my brand new set – all has been delivered as per promised. He even bought back my old rig from me, which originally came from him anyway. Easy guy to deal with and delivered as per promised, well I believe he does his best. I’m also aware of at least couple of people in WA who bought new gear from him and trusted him with about $9K each – all are happy customers. I’m also aware of the fact that a few weeks ago the guy from NSW got fixed up with a decent set of used gear – again happy customer. So I’m not sure what you are trying to achieve by posting all your comments and what that’s has got actually to do with this particular forum. If your joined venture with Serg failed apart and you are having dispute with the guy over some investments involved which looks like he is opposing to it’s both of you problem, don’t have to be disclosed here. As far as I know you did not have balls to catch up with guy and talk to him in person but seems to be very brave behind the keyboard. Or slagging people on the internet about their private life is your hobby you enjoy very much…??? I don't know man, i believe you've got some issues to be considered.
My granny who I borrowed some $$$ from for my first set of gear had a dispute over $10K debts with her financial institution about 5 years ago, should I post here all the details too…??? +4 to the guy from me and to Chutingstar – both are very professional.

  5. Yes, APF did jump the gun this time.

There are number of aspects to consider here:
    1. I don't think APF thoroughly investigated circumstances of what happened in Poland, well, we yet to see their own findings and analysis, most likely the decision was based on what was officially published by polish authorities. And people who was following the whole process do know that Polish authorities failed to present a bullet proof evidence that AAD did not do it's job they way it supposes to;

    2. I hope more experienced jumpers/experts will comment on the fact why A licence jumpers only are not allowed to jump with Argus AAD.
I believe there is something here that needs to be thoroughly elaborated with all the pros and cons, whether that decision legit and makes sense. Otherwise it looks like a freshly licenced jumper is not allowed to use an AAD of their choice, in case of Argus becoming the one, because of very disputable reasons. I'm just not sure how all Cypres issues & recalls falls into the category as being a safe AAD for A licenced jumpers????....

    3. And as a matter of fact:
Rory Hatchet has been recently appointed as APF's Director of Rigging.
Rory Hatchet is also personally involved in a commercial distribution & promotion of some brands of Skydiving gear, and Airtec's product is being among of those. He is also well know as being a strong advocate of Cypres AAD as being the ONLY TRUE AAD.
I'm just wondering what APF was looking at making the decision that poses restrictions of usage of Aviacom products in the country, when one of its directors has a clear commercial interest in product's distribution of Aviacom's rival company. And this only happened shortly after Rory's appointment to his current position. Is this as simple coincident?????..... Or it's called market protection nowadays????.....
I'm also wondering whether anybody can be appointed to perform in the capacity of one of the Directors of APF, USPA, etc.... who's involvement in decision making process could be influenced not only by the community's safety concerns, also by other external factors. Otherwise the whole process could be set up just to serve someone's personal commercial interests.
