I went with the Z1 for mine, I guess I was skittish of buying something that I hadn't really seen and the helmet of choice at home is the Z1 also... never the less, the boomerang does indeed look badass!!!!

packing - below average.
exits - pretty good.
belly flying - pretty good
free-flying - way, way sucky.
relative work - Going on what a 500+ jump coach is telling me: way ahead of the curve. Maybe he is just trying to build my confidence but I seem to have a natural ability to fly my body. Not saying that I don't need a lot more time in the air but... what else do I have to go on?
spotting - not too bad great instructors
landings - average.
CRW - never tried, too many trees to land in at home

Then maybe your view of the two backed beast is better than mine. But being a 24 year old male I seriously doubt it.

What I find the most interesting part is that you can pack the same way over and over again and yet never really know how "brisk" the opening will be until you pull.

Enjoy the Sabre, I have been jumping my 150 for about 8 months now and the openings never quit surprising me, soft once and the SABRE time on the next on. I am glad that I am a young man.

I spent sripng break of 1999 in Holland and it was unreal, and no not the dope or really good beer ( not bad, but not the reason) but if I ever go back I will probably never leave. Everyone over there is so nice and laid back. The people are awesome. Just a thought

the first should have been 3, but how were we to know that people actually beach comb at 4 in the morning. 1... had to get one in on vacation. 1 ... had to do it at a new place.

GUys let me tell you, I went last Sunday and it was unreal. The winds were kind of screwy early so I chilled out at the beach with my girlfriend, like 5 minutes away from the DZ. When the winds died down I got a lift to five grand and just took a scenic jump. The visuals are distractingly beautiful, the water, the beach, ...unreal. Big props to Howie, Splash, Nicki, Carmo, and Brian... great people and and balst of a DZ. If you are ever anywhere near Brunswick NC, get there, they are no longer jsut a weekend DZ. I will be taking a trip from Charleston again soon, and this time I am bringing the gang. Thanks for the advice

you can't buy brains... and there is a reason that none of these guys have ever one a nobel or a pulitzer. Just a thought

I agree, but has anyone else noticed that there is no middle ground for first timers... it is either they love it and cannot wait to do it again or they just decided that bowling is more to their liking?
