  1. SO so so true Jim He would have Loved the sport! And I have already found that the people involved in this sport are awesome! I can't wait to say I am a part of this group. Nicole
  2. There is no such thing as moving on, as just learning to live with the pain as well as possible. And I have 3 other kids that need their mom. So while I am here I might as well live the way he would have and enjoy each last drop of it! Nicole
  3. Thanks for the awesome welcome. I deffinitly see how it is more than a physical activity, I too thought of it as spiritual and psychological. I goes to the core of a person and sticks with you as a profound experience thats for sure. Nicole
  4. I think both me and my boyfriend will be going and getting our training together. My son was quite a thrill seeker and wanted to skydieve someday. Tragically he was killed in a boating accident 20 months ago while wakeboarding. He was only 13.5 years old. I went skydiving the first time for him, and was bitten by the bug. Now I will get my training and will continue to skydive for him and for me. It's the closest I can get to him until I see him again. I have already met some awesome people int he sport, and hope to meet many more. Skydivers are a different kind of people....in a good way of course. Nicole
  5. Made my first jump (tandem) in Aruba last week. Now I am ready for more! I live in Washington state and am looking at West Plains skydiving for my AFF classes. Awesome website here, has given me lots of great information. Nicole
