Hi guys, I'm writing my university thesis about miltary parachuting in the USA and in Hungary and currently I'm in the process of collecting data. It would be great if you could send me links/book titles about how military parachuting started in the United States. Thanks a lot, -
This is it! Thanks a lot. All the best, Miklos

Hi all, In January I'm going to hold a seminar on AADs for my people and I have all the material I need apart from a video I've been looking for some time. It was discussed on dropzone forums (http://tinyurl.com/ylgmj2y ) back in 2006 and showed a situation when the AAD fired and cut the reserve closing loop but if the closing loop was too long, the flaps of the container failed to open. I need this video to exemplify how important it is to adhere to the closing loop length specified in the manual of the rig. Everybody seems to know it is important, but it certainly would sink in much better if I could present this clip. If anyone has it, please let me know. All the best, Miklos (skydiving instructor, Hungary)
