    Job Description: Aviation Maintenance Lead FAA A&P Mechanic Part 91 Turbine Operator Desert Sand Aircraft is looking for quality FAA Airframe and Powerplant technicians to join our team. We need A&P's that can fit in quickly with our fleet and team, have a positive attitude, and have turbine fleet experience. This position will be a lead; performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on our fleet of DHC-6 Twin Otters, C208 Caravans, with PT6 and TPE331 engines. This position requires travel and flexibility, as well as attention to detail and the ability to support and grow younger A&Ps on staff. Responsibilities: Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies. Ensure consistent, accurate maintenance records by properly documenting and completing required forms, and logbook entries Follow all policies and procedures Keep a clean and orderly work environment Perform duties in a safe manner Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate 5+ years of turbine aircraft maintenance experience Experience on AT LEAST one of the following: DHC-6, C208, PT6, TPE331 Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals Possess adequate tools Ability to manage junior mechanics Desired Qualifications: FAA Inspection Authorization preferred Electric troubleshooting Additional PT6, TPE331, DHC-6, and/or C208 experience strongly preferred Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 Relocation: Negotiable Travel: Monthly during spring/summer
