Yes I have and there will always be little fights with kids, that's how it works. What it does is gives you an idea of how your style of parenting would fit in with hers. If you can't handle it you should end it now, otherwise you are shoplifting the booty! Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Cause the door was open! -
QuoteWell lets see...
You have the Rusty Trombone- Girls tounging your ass while jerking you off.
Then theres the Hershey Kiss Field Goal- I dont have the nerve to explain that one but google can give you a good idea.
The Abe Lincoln- Shave your pubes and keep them nearby where the action is happeneing. Blow load in her face then throw the pubes on there.
Thats just a few I remember off the top.
LMAO at the Abe Lincoln!!!!!!!!!Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Cause the door was open! -

QuoteQuoteQuoteWhat is the best thing to do when you are low?
Discuss it with your fellow jumpers, and not with the 'we know whats best for you' crowd here at dz.com.
Yeah, especially those with less than 100 jumps that tell you to barrel roll
I represent that statement! Although I'm a 100 jump wonder, I will present my comments based on my brief experience in the sport and if I'm wrong, I will learn from the comments of those who are more enlightened! Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Cause the door was open! -
QuoteQuoteQuoteQuoteQuoteGrab your hackey, hold onto it, and stare at your alti until you are safe to pull. Works for me :)
I personally will never do that again! I had a PCIT that I contribute to holding onto my pilot chute a few seconds after I extracted it....Once it comes out and I extend my arm, I have committed and it goes bye bye!
I don't think they meant pull it and hold it, cause that would be fucking stupid. I think this is more of a "reach and touch it, then wait as long as you safely can before you toss it."
Actually what I do is pull it and put the PC in my mouth, that way all you have to do is open your mouth to deploy
Really though, you are correct, I didn't mean pull it, just put your hand on your hackey and look at your altimeter, pull when you get to your number.
when is it that you think you should stop tracking to do this hackey-holding?
In this instance what does it matter? Sounds to me like the person tracked back under the formation. Do you think everyone on a dive knows exactly what jump run is and knows which way to track? What if someone above you has tracked in the same direction you have and you can't see them above you? I've been disoriented by clouds more than once. My point is, if you can't rely on horizontal seperation, get some vertical seperation. I'm pretty new to this sport but I know enough that I don't want to be dumping in the middle of a formation, so I'm going to do what common sense tells me, and go low.Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? The most important thing to know when you go low is where the other jumpers are, if you can't see them, you HAVE to know where they are pulling at and pull lower. If everyone on that jump agreed to pull at 3K, you should have dumped at 2.5 which is still safe. I think someone else mentioned it, but why were people passing you in freefall? That will kill you QUICK! If they agreed to pull at 3 and were falling past you, you should have issues with them. I've been in this situation before, below the formation, and about 3.5 ground rush startes telling you to pull now. Grab your hackey, hold onto it, and stare at your alti until you are safe to pull. Works for me :)Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Cause the door was open! -

QuoteI was at O'hare in Chicago waiting for a flight and saw a guy bragging/showing off his rig to a couple of chicks,,,,the rig was sitting on the chair and as he was yacking to one of the girls,,,the other asked if she could try it on,,he said yes and went back to yacking ( she was hotter looking ) so the other chick went to pick it up by the reserve handle,,,, and you all know the rest of the story.....

Damn! You know, I try to check snopes for emailed stories, but since the OP said it was told to him in person, I didn't think about it. But now it does sound too good to be true.
His coworker must be a damn good bullshitter.
I was actually googling for a news story about the incident, but started pulling up variations of the urban myth.

A co-worker of mine shared a story that I thought was too funny not to pass along. A couple of weeks ago his 18 year old son who has Downs Syndrome and stays home alone gave him a call and said that the neighbor bought a garden gnome and he borrowed it and locked it in the closet. I should also add that his son is a VERY large kid. He replied "that's good son, I will be home after work. A few minutes later he got another call from the kid telling him that the garden gnome was making alot of noise in the closet. He left work immediately and rushed home. He walked into his son's room to find a chair blocking the door, removed it, and a VERY pissed "little person" who worked for Reliant Entergy popped out. He was wearing a green hat and had a beard, looked just like a garden gnome. Surprisingly the poor guy didn't file charges! Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? . I will be switching to a freefly hackey soon to try to solve the issue.
Please explain this. How the hell will it fix the problem you had ?
It will be stable, not flopping around like my hackey does. Why would anyone jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Cause the door was open!
QuoteI completely agree with you. It was a stupid thought in free fall -- I recognized that. The most important thing is to be able to skydive again. If the Reserve didn't have a purpose, we wouldn't be jumping with them. I have no hesitation to cut-away or use my reserve in the first instance if things are not going right and the procedures call for it. It was just a crazy thought as I am reaching as hard as I could for my hackey and just grazing it x3.
Same here! I couldn't control was was going through my mind at that point, just stating what I happened to be thinking.
I think my situation was caused by the lack of a good arch at deployment time, which would have brought my hackey closer to my hand, and a little extra material hanging out that caused the hackey to flap when I reached for it. I will be switching to a freefly hackey soon to try to solve the issue.
I never thought anything like this would happen to me, at least for not being able to find my hackey, but it did! I'm thankful to my instructors for teaching me what to do in this circumstance. I walked up to the DZ with my reserve in my hand and my main in place in my container, nothing wrong with it. I fully expected to get my ass chewed for doing something wrong but all I heard from people was that I did the right thing. All I can say is that my next few jumps will be nothing but practice handle touches and deploying above 6K, until I regain confidence in being albe to deploy my main safely.

A doctor delivered a baby and as soon as it was out he grabbed it's by its feet and slammed it to the floor. He held it up and punched it in the face several times, and punted it out of the room. He ran out of the room after the baby as the mother wailed in tears. The doctor walks back in with the baby and says "I was just kidding, it was already dead."

Quotea few years ago I had a girl, the plan was for me to pull a little high.
so the bf would land first, take off his js under it he had on a tux.
friends rolled out a huge "will you marry me" sign. So he's there on
one knee, roses the whole bit. We turn final and I say hey look there's
a message for you. There's this pause and then she says.
"But I hardly know you" of course I say no look it's your bf. very funny. happy ending

QuoteQuoteFYI, my comfortable deployment altitude is 3500 and my decision altitude is 1500.
Rethink that decision altitude. The SIM recommends no lower than 1800 for D licensed jumpers.
If I have an issue I'm definitely going to chop higher, not going to screw with it until 1500, but if I find myself at 1500 with a canopy I cannot land, I'm chopping it.
