    am presently working offshore,Sometimes access to regular emails and
    phone calls is very poor offshore due to inefficiency of the immarsat
    service,I located in Pacific Washington, and i want you to know that I
    am ok with the condition of the canopy and the asking price as well,I
    am buying the canopy as a gift for my father and I want to surprise
    him.I don't have access to my bank account on-line as i don't have
    internet banking but i have my bank account attached to my PayPal
    account and this is why i insisted in paying you through PayPal,kindly
    get back to me with your PayPal email address and if you don't have
    PayPal account yet,it is very easy to set up at your bank or online
    and get it set up,after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail
    address you use for registration with PayPal so as to put the money
    through,I can proceed with the payment and after the payment has been
    done,I have a pick up agent that will come around for verifications
    and to pick the canopy after i have made the payments for the canopy

  6. For handicam I use a opteka 0.3 lens, the big flat one. And on some days I get fog inside the lens (so not in between the camera and the lens) its round and about 1 cm. diameter. and covers the whole face of my tandem passenger.

    It starts coming halfway during freefall and it slowly goes away after opening..

    Anyone elso who had this problem and knows how to solve it?

  8. I have a sonic v2.0 and it is really good.
    You do not need a suit like this. Maybe if you want to compete world class.

    But it is really nice, and you can definitely feel the difference in flying with this suit.

    Buy the one you like better.

    And talk to experienced freeflyers who know you. They can also help you choosing the right suit with the right options.

  12. The reason why your not allowed to jump with a camera yes is because it is an distraction because you want things in your video like the plane on exit or other jumpers. Not only because of it's size.

    And jumping with a camera isn't as much fun as you would think because you are not the one you see in the video..

  13. Do you want to jump with cameras or do you want to do camera flying? These are two different things.

    With camera flying I started practicing tandem video's and 2- 4 way video just paying my own slot.
    When the dropzone needed a cameraman they asked me and started doing paid tandem video's and got asked to do video for a 4 way team pretty quick.

    You want a canopy that opens soft (especially when your jumping with more than one camera)
    And a suit or a jacket with wings..

  14. I don't have a 2k composites helmet, but I've seen a few. And I don't really know why but it wouldn't be my choice.

    I would personally buy a tonfly 1x 2x or 3x. because these helmets are really small and really light.

  16. I use a sony a200 for skydiving photography. It is a good camera. You just have to make shure that you have autofocus turned off and you have to put some tape on the flash.
    The downside is that there are not many people using sony photo cameras so it's harder to find a switch for it. (ultimate-switch.com)

  20. I don't think its the switch. you can check that:

    pull the two little plugs out of the switch and push them together it should start making pictures just like when you use the switch.

    or:

    Just press the camera's shutter button.


    I think you've got a slow memorycard. and after 20 pictures you have to wait for the camera to write the pictures on the card.

    If you put 2 quickreleases on a FTP and put a videocamera on one and put a stills camera on the front mount, you have your desired setup. Make sure you route the stills switch and 2 cam-eyes in the helmet. Now, clicking on a 2nd videocamera or a flash in a bracket or rotating the front mount only takes a few seconds.

    I want them both on top because that looks a bit more balanced. Or am I wrong here?
    Can you see the stills camera when it is on the front bracket?
    And do you need a quick release on the front bracket? or can you just use the camera screw?
