  1. Hello there, Is there an web-based gear store that would buy a used gear? I am trying to sell my main, and get a new one in return in one shot. I live outside of the U.S., so a person to a person transaction is not the best option for me. Thanks.
  2. After asking a question regarding getting a full face helmet, I chose to get a FreeZR II (MK2), and I got it today from Paragear. I had to overcome 4 obstacles before getting this helmet though. I had to worry about my 24" head, bulging temple, wearing a pair of glasses, and putting in an audible on top of that. Well, first I was given an XXL, and it had a lot of room left despite my 24" wierdly shaped head plus glasses. Then I tried XL, and it fit perfectly. Although it was tighter to put on a pair of glasses after putting on the helmet, I still can wear it after donning the helmet and feel comfortable. I needed to wiggle my glasses a bit though on an XL. Regarding an audible, it had two pockets, and at first both XL and XXL seemed to crush my chin when I tried them at the store. Then I came home, tried it again, and I don't even feel it. So the most of the problems solved. Here comes the question part. The visor on FreeZR II seemed to be too flexible and it is likely to flip up accidentally on a freefall, just like other guys have witnessed. The round tipped pegs to hold the visor are too short and the visor itself is too flexible. I was thinking either lengthening the pegs like one other member tried on his FreeZR II, or tightening the screws where the visor pivots. I was also thinking, make the visor more stiff by putting somekind of reinforcing tapes or vinyl stuff at the edges of the visor. What do you think? do you think this is ok? Thank you.
  3. Hi there, I am in search for a full face helmet (first one) at the moment. The problems are, I have a big head and wear a pair of glasses. I tried on several full face helmets at local dropzone, but only one that I can find to suit my head size and my wearing glasses, is the Havok from Bonehead. Putting on XL Havok, I found it had some room left around my head, but the dropzone not carrying L sized Havok, I have no idea how L size would fit over my head. Not only that, I didn't like the Havok about it not having that soft chin covering that all other full face helmet would come with. Anyway, I need a full face helmet that's large enough to take my 24" head with glasses on. I usually find it difficult to put on the glasses after I put on the helmet, so I need one that I can put on a pair of glasses before putting the helmet on (like Havok). I know my choices are pretty much limited, but if you know any other helmet than Havok, let me know. Thank you.
  4. Hello there, I am planning to have my honeymoon sometime during the month of June outside of the U.S., and like to visit a dropzone with my fiancee to let her have her first jump. Well, I was thinking about going to Australia during that time, and only the problem is...the weather. As far as I know, it will be Fall, or Winter by June, and I don't know if we can jump during that period of time. So if you know anything about jumping in Australia during the month of June, please let me know. If you know any othe places in the Pacific region, or Asia that would have a decent dropzone but also many newly-married couple would visit for their honeymoon, please let me know. Thank you.
