I visited this dropzone for the first time this year, and have so far this season spent three consecutive weekends + one long weekend + a little over a week there (for a special event). Everyone made me feel welcome and my husband and I didn't have any trouble finding (very skilled!) people to jump with. In fact, the dropzone owner and his sons frequently walked around the dropzone asking everyone if they wanted to go up for another load and, if so, if they had someone to jump with. They frequently organized jumps for everyone, even taking up people with lower jump numbers. The owner made sure that our 8-way group could always get on a load, even if they had hundreds of tandems to do that day. He even once sent up the plane half-empty just for us! The staff was eager to help us plan our 4-way and 8-way jumps, whether it be exit position or a difficult block. And when the staff members include Canada's champion team (Evolution), you know you're getting good advice! I really learned a lot from them. You can tell their students are getting amazing training, too. I was really surprised and pleased by the welcome we got and I hope to go back to Nouvel Air soon!
