  1. I have always wanted to sky dive and thought that Cabo would be the perfect place. We come every year and have seen the sky divers land on the beach near Tabasco restaurant on Medano Beach. I researched and found the phone number for Sky Dive El Sol. When I met the crew, Astrid, Greg, and Tice (hope I spelled that right) they were great. They were on time and picked me up at the beach location. The guys took the time to tell me about themselves, how many jumps they have done, etc. They even took the time to get to know me and find out why I had made the decision to sky dive. I chose to buy the video and pic package from them which was a great decision. Greg took video and pics of me from the beginning to the end. It showed my reactions and some of their fun personalities too. The whole crew made me feel so comfortable and the experience was great. We drove a short distance to the airport in Cabo. I was worried that we were going to drive an hour into San Jose, but the drive was only about 15 minutes. When we arrived at the airport, I had to sign the typical waivers etc. Standard with any crazy activity you do in any town. Tice got me harnessed in and showed me the proper way to lean when sky diving. He answered all my questions and went over the procedure a few times to make sure that I was comfortable. We all piled in a little rinky-dink plane, which was perfect for the sky diving in Mexico experience. We were like a bunch of clowns piling into a circus car, but it was great. Greg took video and pics along the way up. The view was fantastic and I was so pumped. Once we reached 11,000 feet, Greg opened the door. This crazy guy held onto the wing of the plane in order to get video and pics of me going out. I was strapped to Tice and he verbally went over what to do again with me before we jumped. The air was very cold even though the temp was probably 85 degrees on land. I wore a t shirt and shorts. Once my adrenaline kicked in I was not cold at all. Tice scooted me to the edge of the plane. I swear the wind was going to pull us out, but it didn't. I sat my feet on the little airplane step outside the plane. He counted in my ear and then jumped us out. I am glad he did because I am not sure I could have nudged us out on my own. Once we were free falling it was so F-ing amazing. Greg was right there next to us taking video and pics. The view was so incredible. We free fell for about 60 seconds. It was the most amazing 60 seconds of my life. Tice pulled the cord. I worried it would jerk us, but it didn't. We slowly pulled up with the chute and then floated down towards the beach. It was the perfect time to see all of Cabo from above including the arch and all the resorts. Tice even let me hold the parachute ropes and fly for a minute. He spun us around for some in the air fun. He really made the whole experience comfortable and nice. We landed on the beach. I was barefoot and just picked up my legs. Tice did the landing. It was not bad at all. The chute glided to the ground behind us. Greg had landed before us to take pics on my landing and my initial reaction. This was the BEST experience and really was the icing on the cake to my vacation/honeymoon in Cabo. I would recommend Sky Dive El Sol to anyone. They were all great and I will definiteley do it again next trip to Cabo. The video and pics Greg shot were great and I am SOOOO glad I purchased it. He made a movie with all the footage, with music, scenes, and it is a great souvenier to show my friends and family. You can see the video on my you tube account in a few days under my screen name chericline. If you are ever in Cabo and want to have a great time call Sky Dive El Sol. They were just wonderful!!!!!
