  1. My husband Steve and I went to Skydive KY for our very first skydives. Jim (owner), greg (photographer), mike (tandem diver), and nick (photographer) were all very friendly and helpful. They did a wonderful job of giving us all the relevant information, while really making us feel at ease (well, as much at ease as is possible when you're contemplating your first jump out of a plane!). Greg was very friendly and quick to engage in conversation as if we were old friends - the same with Jim (one of the owners, i believe). Mike, who was my tandem, was extremely professional and courteous, and was very patient with me. Nick has a great sense of humor and really added some levity to what was a very nervous morning. They showed us Fort Knox as we were up in the plane, and Mike showed me how to steer the parachute as we were up in the air. He was very interested in really TEACHING me, so I could do it again, rather than just giving me a ride. The con was that there was no bathroom, just port-a-potties (although those were very clean and non-smelly) - this can be kind of a big deal if you're nervous and you have to pee every 20 minutes, like we did...or if you have to wait 3 hours from the time you get there to go up in a plane (as we did, because of the weather). altogether, i'd definitely dive with these guys again. in fact, i was ready to go a second time as soon as i hit the ground!
