  1. Yes, I read about the 2-stage opening and it is very smooth, but I believe it doesn't explain how it stands up against line twist.
  2. My question is how do Cobalts loaded around 1.3 behave with regard to line twists? Also, what is the recommended length for risers for a 150? I want to convert my old, out of date risers to mini-risers with the new anti-twist technology. I’ve already had an exhilarating reserve ride due to line twist on another elliptical canopy, and as much as I like the jump I’d rather not do it again. It is my understand that the Cobalt was designed with stability in mind, but I like to know how it handles in a line twist malfunction and if any of you out there have had any. Also how do you avoid line twist e.i. what is the best body position. “Knowing is half the battle” G.I. Joe
  3. HAHA, very good Remster. I might try that. And that's good advise on the curency issue. I didn't think of that.
  4. I am about to invest in a used 150 elliptical, and I'm on a tight, tight budget. How imperative is it that I use a collapsible pilot chute with this canopy? Also, what is the minimum size of a canopy before the non-collapsible pilot chute begins to interfere with the performance of the canopy? .......relax, because your about to enjoy life to its fullest!
  5. Does anyone have any info on the jumper at Mardi Grai who went in. I don't know exactly what happened, but I heard he was avoiding a collision with another jumper under a high performance canopy before it happened. I'm pretty sure he was alive when he left in the ambulance.
