  1. Hello Canadian 4-way jumpers. Two of us are looking for two more members to create a 4-way team for next season. The goal is to turn 10+ points in competition. Budget is to be about $10K each on training, video, coaching, and tunnel in Perris, CA. Schedule can be worked out, but should be about one weekend every 2-3 weeks and won't conflict with the Canadian Record in March or Fury8 teams. Requirements: Be a solid belly flier with some 4-way experience (or 8-way or similar), have a few hundred jumps at least, be able to meet commitments and show up for / pay for everything, be able to come to (or live near) Perris, California for frequent training, be able to jump in Canadian Nationals. Competition goals: Compete in Canadian Nationals and a guest team in US Nationals. Average 10-12 points. Focus: Fun and learning. Spooning leads to forking.
  2. Thanks. That sounds perfect. Spooning leads to forking.
  3. I've got 80 jumps and fly like a dead turtle. That said, I'd like to move off a little from the totally random fun jumps that look like a swarm of bees and start learning a little more about 4-way. (and actually doing the same jump over and over a few times until we get it right) What I'm looking to do is find three similar people - relatively new jumpers who want to get better and can spend (most) every Saturday at Perris and can handle 5 or more jumps in a day. A bonus would be somebody who's learning to fly camera and wants to take video of the whole fiasco as it unfolds. The goal may just be to get better at RW and learn a little something about 4-way - possibly go to some competition and take a shot at coming in any better than dead last. The only qualifications that I care about are that you can show up 95% of Saturdays, that you tolerate whomever else joins up, and that you (including camera flier) can afford your own jump tickets. - Duke Spooning leads to forking.
  4. I'm going to be in Saratov on business for a couple of weeks and I'd love to jump there. I see online that there are nearby dropzones and it seems like a hot spot for skydiving, but I don't speak Russian and can't find a way to post on their forums. So my question is, does anybody know about skydiving in Saratov or can somebody scrape http://forum.saratov.ru/index.php? and let me know the details? 1. Can I go and jump there and have an easy time speaking only English? 2. Can I rent gear there? 3. What is the best DZ in the area, how will I get there from the city, and what can I jump out of? 4. Am I allowed to jump in Russia with an A license? Any info would be awesome. Thanks. - Duke Spooning leads to forking.
