  1. what's up. i just got my new wings w-8-2 ext in. i love it. this is my 3rd wings, and by far the best of the 3. they had some problems with the main flap being too soft and coming open, they have totally fixed this problem. i used to have a w-4 and it was just too short for my confort, i felt like i had to strain to get to the pud, my new ext is great, no strain at all. the leg strap design is the most conforable i've ever jumped. i've jumped about everything out there, infinity, mirage, vector 3, javelins, recalls i mean reflexs. pretty much all the popular containers, and the wings is the most conforable out of all of them. the only complaint i have about the wings is the main riser toggles, they are really short and built funky, they have a option of getting longer ones you just have to ask, and i forgot to. other than that this is the best rig i've ever owned (2 other wings, a couple reflexs, a jav. and a naro, i started jumping young i've grown out of a few ;-).

  2. i had a 72 vx. i will say they can swoop like a bat out of hell, but if your not careful it will get away from you. if you are twichy with the toggles then it will "bounce" around during your swoop. just be smooth. but i didn't care for the openings. they aren't too hard, but not too soft. i sent mine back because i do a lot of tandem videos and need something that opens better. i have a friend that has one that i jump all the time because i just love the way it fly's. but when i set up a third rig i might buy one a just not jump it with my camera.

  3. i have about 500 jumps on a 84 fx,and about 150 on a 89, 20 on a 115 and 20 on a 78. i load the 84 at 2.2 and i have 50found that i got ok proformance on the 115, but i under loaded. the 89 gave me good proformance and good swoops, but when i jumped the 84 i was in love. it was great, i could just go forever in my swoop. i just got my 78 and i think i can swoop farther under the 84. the speed if a lot faster, that why i got it. i still have my 84 to keep around when i need it. but it takes quite of few jumps to handle one of these. i don't want to sound like a sky god or anything but i would say at least 500 jump with a lighter loading. but if you jump one then you beter be ready to buy it because you'll want one.
