  1. My first visit to Dunkeswell was August this year, and I have never been made to feel more welcome. By the end of the first day I knew the 1st names of many of those there and most people knew mine. In short order the 1st jump was an organised 4 way, and then things just got better. The kingAir is excellent, the only real downer is that 15,000 feet is ASL, and the DZ is 830' ASL so most jumps are really 14,200. That said that is great freefall time the views are good and the landing area is HUGE. Points to note, Dunkeswell is an active airfield so there are other aircraft in the sky. The DZ is open Thursday to Sunday. Everyone is very nice to everyone else!! Cool DZ
