  1. Why should this even matter to someone who doesn't skydive? Haven't seen you jump in at least a couple of years. Do you still own gear? If I had all the money Ive spent on skydiving, I'd spend it on skydiving!
  2. This is a touching story and I am truly sorry for your loss. I could never imagine the grief of loosing my son. As tragic as this story is, it still does not make what this regional director did legal, ethical or legitimate. Nor does it magically turn him into what we expect a regional director and representative of the USPA to be, although I applaud his compassion. Giving credit where credit is due and considering his ethics he'd probably make a great US senator. If I had all the money Ive spent on skydiving, I'd spend it on skydiving!
  3. (have you met the guy? And I don't mean one time for 5 minutes years ago, I mean actually sat down and talked to him or watched him teach? ) Well, I have met the guy many times and I have sat down with him and listened. Each time I found him to be arrogant and self centered and his favorite subject to brag about is Kip! (I personally think it's sad that you feel it's necessary to bring someone down who is doing so many good things for the sport) If you are trying to make him look like he has some integrity then how do you explain the fact that he stabbed the folks at a competing drop zone in the back after they diligently campaigned for him and were largely responsible for getting him elected? Oh yea, on the pilot chute thing, Mr Lepka, you forgot to mention he's a rigger too. If I had all the money Ive spent on skydiving, I'd spend it on skydiving!
