My cats must be seriously desensitized. One of them was sitting here ON THE BED NEXT TO ME, cleaning his paws. He didn't even stop. No compassion whatsoever. No more violent television for them!!!TPM Sister #102 -
Quoteyou may have to make it smaller..... the pics have to be little babies compared to their original counterparts....
Hate my cheeks , people pinch them, im almost 29 years old and still get the "ohh so cute, must pinch" grrrr
At least it keeps you young! Then again, I'd be ready to smack 'em, if people kept going after MY cheeks!TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteDamn squirrel cheeks
I would trade my pig-nose for your squirrel cheeks. It's just wrong.
(I tried to attach a photo, but I obviously did something wrong! Upon reflection, I might be grateful for that. . . .)TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteHellow everybody!
I got all your E-mails. when i counted them there was 46 including my mom's but she didn't do a lot.
46 emails! That's a lot! You must be very popular. I'm glad you had lots of fun.

QuoteI've got a SonyEricsson W810i, and the camera is excellent in good lighting conditions. 2.0MP autofocus. Sucks in low-light, though they've definitely improved it over the K750i.
If money wasn't an issue, I'd get a SonyEricsson K800i.
Hmmmm, I'm impressed! My camera phone is apparently related to the disposables that come in cardboard boxes. My pictures never come out looking like THAT! (I know--location matters, too!TPM Sister #102 -
Is it wrong that I'm just as impressed with the quality of your camera phone as I am with the view? My camera pics NEVER look that good! Maybe I'm just on the wrong continent.TPM Sister #102 -
I'm bitter, too, but at least my mneumonic device actually works better without Pluto. We learned it as "Mary Visited Edith Monday; Just Sat Until Noon, Period." It's better without the "Period" on the end--but Pluto shouldn't be demoted for poor job performance as a planet. It can't help it if it had bad genes.TPM Sister #102 -
So, what time did you finally hit the dz?
Nice description. Makes me want to go to the dz in the morning instead of the office!TPM Sister #102 -
Quotesnakes!!!
That's hilarious!TPM Sister #102 -
Email sent. You have to do a follow-up thread to tell us how much fun she had at camp and how she never even really had TIME to read her emails, anyway, because she and all her new friends were too busy having fun! I hope she's doing great today.
Her counselor is going to kill you for this! Too bad. . . .TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteOh and I have a crazy crazy CRAZY hematoma on my left thigh! Check it out on my myspace page! http://www.myspace.com/dandaninc
Ohhh, pain. You get serious respect for that and I hope you're milking it for all it's worth!TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteCONGRATULATIONS!!!! You did it, girl! Throw the whuffo card away and get out your calendar. When are you going to start AFF?
I had a fantastic time today, and I'm so glad you did too. Our guys at the drop zone rock!
I HAD A FABULOUS TIME, TOO!!!!!TPM Sister #102 -
Those are FABULOUS!!! Thanks for the link.TPM Sister #102 -
QuoteCell providers are in general, shady at best.
]
It's one of those industries where we'll put up with realy bad service because really bad service is still better than doing without cell service. We just move from provider to provider; we don't ever just give it up and walk away. There's no real motivation for any of the providers to actually fix the problem--especially if fixing things would be expensive! On the other hand, if there was a truly reliable service, we'd all move over to it in a heartbeat!TPM Sister #102
I will graciously allow them to be Perrisites because that was obviously a FINE beginning, but they're ours now and we love them!!TPM Sister #102
I figure that, by now, I have likely been flagged in their computers as a hostile customer because I get so ticked off that I have to micro-manage the bill every time it comes in. I'm normally very even-keeled, but Sprint is my one true hot spot.
Maybe we could get rich quick (to pay for skydiving, of course), by providing an intermediary service to Sprint customers. They come to us; we fix it with Sprint. There must be a HUGE market for this! The stress would be massive, though. I wonder what the suicide rate of Sprint intermediaries would be. . . .TPM Sister #102
My actual Sprint service is vaguely okay, except for the fact that voice mails get lost, only to show up weeks later, and sometimes the phone never rings even though it's on. All of a sudden, I'll mysteriously get voice mail, but nothing shows up in the call history. All of this I could impatiently live with if they didn't also screw up the billing every few months. Somehow, without my ever REQUESTING changes in service, I will start getting billed for new and exciting features that are supposed to be included in my plan to begin with. I never should have added a phone line for my mother. Part of the billing problem is that things get moved from my phone to hers (like internet service)--and then I'M charged extra for using the services that are supposed to be on my account to begin with.
*Whew.* That was cathartic! Doesn't fix my Sprint service, but I feel better after lying down on the therapist's couch and exploring my deeply-seated Sprint issues.TPM Sister #102
That's sick and twisted! I love it!TPM Sister #102
QuoteOh ok lol. Well good luck. Hope the weather permits for you. I'll be pretty mad if I can't jump due to the weather. I'm pretty psyched about it.
Good luck to you, too! I can't wait.TPM Sister #102
QuoteQuoteQuote
Wait, you're going to jump in Chester on that Saturday? The same DZ as me? Or did I misunderstand? :-P I assume not cause who is predicting weather like 3 weeks in advance? :P
No, I'm very much in Colorado and will be at an entirely different dz, so hopefully your weather will not even be a concern. I'm planning to go, anyway--just get up early enough to beat the rain, I hope!TPM Sister #102
Hi! Sounds like you already have a lot of experience. Who wouldn't love that?! Welcome to the Forums.TPM Sister #102
Quote***Let your Tandem Instructor know you will very likely become an AFF student and want to maximize you learning during your first tandem. Then let him take it from there, including making the choice of exit.
Sounds like I MIGHT be able to get one of my wind tunnel instructors to do the tandem, and if so, he knows a bit about where I'm coming from. I was thinking I would probably have someone I don't know (and who doesn't know me), which may not make it any harder but sure doesn't make it any easier. At least if I get someone I know, we're not starting at total ground zero. So, that may be good news!TPM Sister #102
QuoteReserved my spot this morning for Sept 9th at 10am.
HOW GREAT!!!!!! Glad you're on the manifest and ready to go! I'm still planning for Saturday morning, but might have to go up earlier in the morning than expected as it appears that we're supposed to get rain. I hear that rain at 12,000' is ice and it's NOT fun to fly in----but we usually have decent mornings so I will try to jump before the weather has a chance to move in. You might as well download the SIM now. . . .TPM Sister #102
Appropriate is good. I'm just hoping to have some flexibility, but the TI rules and I'm okay with that. I was just hoping that if I COULD choose, I'd know what might be a gentle way out. If there are no choices, I'll take that, too. Thanks!TPM Sister #102
How to get your cat to run into the room
in The Bonfire
They get points just for being adorable! Great pictures--and no red eye. (Maybe mine just look evil in photos for a reason. . . .)
