Quotewhat were the conditions they were flying in (wind, for example)?
sunny, warm :) medium winds. 3-7 m/s (on the ground, not sure about the winds at the altitude)QuoteAnd why all of a sudden so many people from Russia on trackingderby? Is it because they didn't know about it, or did they only recently get GPSes to track and upload data with?
trackingderby and gps flight logging are not that popular in russia. And the trackingderby was used this time to summarize and store the data of the competition. So you can see all the competitors there -
had a frunner 205. sold it to get the trex... -
oh shit.... hope THAT was intentional -
QuoteEdge 305
what about forerunner-205? I got one, but still not sure if it will work correctly it records all the data in laps, and I cant find the way to take the info out of it in a plain text forman -
hmmm. I had a cutaway last summer, Vampire with a Status container. my main was spinning, so I just unzipped my wings and tried to stop it. everything worked just fine -
not quite sure about the pictures, but...Quote
Rigor Mortis refers to the state of a body after death, in which the muscles become stiff. It commences after around 3 hours, reaching maximum stiffness after 12 hours, and gradually dissipates until approximately 72 hours after death. Rigor mortis occurs due to changes in the physiology of muscles when aerobic respiration ceases.
sounds nice :) -

Answers to questions that will be revealed in the field and can't possibly be answered now are: Is it a max glide performance suit? If it is how does it compare with existing max glide designs? Is this a general purpose suit w/ back flight capacity? If its general purpose how does it compare with what is out there now? If its aerobatic how does it compare with suits specific to this type of flying?
I would LOVE to know the answers for suit of at least 2 ws manufacturers :) There is a chance to demo PF wingsuits here, but I got completely no idea how to do that with the others (tonysuits for example) in a proper way.... -
QuoteCuben fiber web page I had the same assumption
I wonder if it is the same material that is used for Daedalus JVX canopies... -
hmmm... guys, how can I contact Atair (not AtairUSA, or the others)?
I was on the way to our local dealer to pay some cash for the new canopy, but after reading this post decided to try radical....
are they selling it? -
QuoteIf you can remember....how strong was the wind?
as I remember it was ~5-7 m/s at 0 altitude -
