AFF Course Levels 1 to 8 CY£ 850.00 thats less than £800. does anyone know if this is right. also is it BPA. more info on this thread would be appreciated. your input and my research are gonna make my mind up as to where i start out in this sport. got the cash( saved 5k so far) just waiting until the weathhers better
  3. mrbiceps, whats your DZ mate? i would go around all the DZ's but its a bit of a trek. thats why i post others for there opinion
  4. i know i said i dont wanna go abroad but after my other half said she wants to do it aswell ( arrrrhhhhh! is gonna cost a fortune) i started some more research. Empuriabrava seems like a good DZ. it works out a little cheaper than doing it in the uk and a holiday in the sun to boot. so its either Langer sibson Hib Empuriabrava This sport is gonna ruin me....he he he he
  5. Thanks to those that have replied and sent pm's. After 2 days of research and many calls I have made up a comparison table for the ten DZ's closest to me, including price, location, opening times, reviews and added extras and i have narrowed it down to a few. Im looking for a DZ that is opened most days of the week as i want to go away for a week or 2 and jump everyday that i can. get my a licence and a good few more jumps. I thought about going abroad but i think im gonna do my training in the uk. What Uk DZ would you all recommend for my Aff and what i want (as above)......no ! i dont want to start a war here. so no fighting about your DZ's. just constructive information please. cheers all

  7. Hey guys n gals, the names Alex from london & ive been interested in this sport for a few years now but being a little scared of heights & not having the cash has stopped me in my tracks...anyway! moneys not a problem now & the best way to get over my fear is to face it head on... as soon as the weathers a little better im gonna go for it but not sure where to start..should i do a tandem first or should i go for the AFF course .(this is the one i think is right). & where should i go for my training. the nearest to me that is open 7days is headcorn, but ive read some off putting reviews.. ive taken this summer off so ive got the time to put in & could travel to the right DZ if needed. any advice most appriciated Cheers Alex ps..i think this could become my way of life...he he
