Dave was truely one of the nicest guys at the drop zone. Just wanted to be around his "family" and would fill in wherever he was needed. He was a big guy but could fall slow or fast whichever he needed to do on that particular jump. It's just so hard to believe that this happened to such a good guy. Fly free Dave, you are already missed.

Skydive Temple is hosting a Boogie 4th of July weekend. We will have beer, a band and load organizers of all disciplines. THERE WILL BE NO BOOGIE FEE FOR THIS EVENT. CPC Swoop Meet practice on Saturday and meet is on Sunday. We have air conditioned packing, snack bar and gear store.

Skydive Temple in Salado, TX has re-opened and we are having our Grand Re-Opening Boogie May 26 thru 29. Friday night, we are putting together a crawfish boil, cooked by a true Louisiana Cajun. Saturday night, we will have wings catered from Hooters and BBQ catered from Cowboys. The band Shit Howdy will be playing during the night. Sunday night, we are playing B-I-N-G-O with lots of good skydiving prizes including free jumps. We will be holding a 4-way scrambles competition on Saturday with cash prizes. There will be a 2-way rotation CRW competition as well with cash prizes on Sunday. We will have load organizers for all disciplines throughout the weekend. Jumps will be $18 and tandems will be $150 for that weekend only. There is a Boogie Fee of $35 which includes a goodie bag, event t-shirt, food and beer on Saturday and Sunday. Things have been pretty busy for me up here. Getting the grand re-opening/memorial day weekend boogie going is full time and jumping during the week. We have been doing pretty good. How are you? Sam

I am here now but the clouds are still pretty low, you would have to get out lower than normal... We have 5 tandems scheduled for this afternoon so I know we will have enough jumpers here later in the day... See you soon Sam
