  1. Lake Wales Swoop video Episode 2 is up! http://www.AdventureOnline.TV
  2. Lake Wales Swoop video is now up on: http://www.AdventureOnline.TV featuring Brian Buechler, Stu Schoenfeld and Ben Lowe After about a week it will always be available on the SKY tab on Adventure Online. Brian
  3. Sorry for the delay, after filming at the Lake Wales CPC I had a major video editing computer meltdown and am finally getting back up. I hope to have some videos done shortly. I plan on heading to Palatka this Friday. Brian from Adventure Online TV
  4. Thanks, that was it. Here is a link to some sailing video I took yesterday with the Oregon Scientific cam. http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid6149278/bclid24526455/bctid422535681 At first I tried it as a helmet cam, but its too zoomed in and was way to shaky to catch things on the boat. There is sound, but with the mic covered for waterproofing the sound is unusable. Its not the best picture, but for $180 including the price of a 2 GIG memory card its not bad. The 2 GIG at max resolution of 640x480 gives you an hour of video at 30 fps. I think it would be a good cam to get started with. It has USB and is drag and drop to your computer. There is also a video out cable and the cam acts as a mini VCR, allowing playback directly to a TV.
  5. DSE, I have some video from the Oregon Scientific cam, but I cant open in Vegas? As Im sure you know its in an AVI wrapper, but not sure about the codec? Thanks Brian K
  6. Hey, is this the VASST DSE? I thought Manny told me you have been skydiving? Dont know if you have seen this cam http://www2.oregonscientific.com/shop/product.asp?cid=6&scid=14&pid=709 Only $180 with 2 gig memory card and will record 60 mins at 30fps and 640x480 direct to internal memory. Drag and drop the video files via USB. Seems to record to a fairly high quality AVI, maybe 5:1 compression, but need to check the file sizes to get an idea. I just got one and will be doing some testing, Ill post some sample videos soon. Brian K in Florida
  7. Hello all, My name is Brian and I am looking for video producers that would be interested in working with me on my adventure based video website www.adventureonline.tv I started making videos of catamaran racing, a hobby which has grown into other sports. I got interested in skydiving and swoop videos from my next door neighbor Kevin who is a skydiver. Adventure Online has a skydiving channel, which is where producers videos will be shown. Best part is, your videos will produce income for you on a monthly basis. If anyone is interested please shoot me a email at info [at] adventureonline.tv Also, I just purchased one of the Oregon Scientific new bullet cams? Anyone use this yet? At 640x480 (30frames/sesc) you can record an hour of video directly to the internal 2 Gig memory card. Pretty cool cam, small, and includes a few mounts! Thanks, Brian
  8. Hello all, Thought I would share that Brightcove.com, a video hosting provider, is featuring my online adventure video channel (Adventure Online TV) today and they chose our Swoop video as the one to be featured with the channel. If you visit www.Brightcove.com today you can see it featured on their mage page, and it will always be on www.AdventureOnline.TV I hope to film some more events in 2007. I live near Melbourne Fl so will most likely try to make the Florida events such as Sebastian and Lake Wales. Thanks Brian
  9. Hello all, My virgin post here, I hope its everything I thought it would be! There is a video of the Sebastian CPC event now playing on my Adventure Sports website www.AdventureOnline.TV It is currently the title video and will autoplay when you visit the site. After about three weeks or so it will then move onto the skydiving channel. My previous neighbor Kevin Keenan introduced me to swoop competitions, I had no idea they existed or how they work, but I was really exited about the sport once I saw it. Kevin videotaped a first swoop contest for me (which is also on the site) and I received a bunch of questions basically saying "Cool, but what is it?", so this second episode sets out to give some explanation as to how it works. Thanks to everyone who was very helpful and took the time to explan things to me, Kevin, Jay, Chris, Kolla, Brie, and Justin. Im still not sure Im buying the "Stand still if someone speeds towards you" bit, but thankfully that didnt happen. Brian AdventureOnline.TV
