  1. Actually that was me that made the PA anouncment at LP about John and to thank him when you see him... Jeff Sanders If life is suppose to take you where you need to be...Am I there yet?
  2. Well written report on the incident John and thank you for the "thank you". Also, a thank you to Steve Platt (Splatt), who is a nurse/EMT, for his assistance after Jim landed. As to the comment asking if it was wise to open Jim at 5.5K due to terrain at LP...In my opinion, without question, YES! YES! The new LP lading area is at the end of the valley, surrounded on three sides by hills that are from one to two thousand feet higher than the landing area. Unless you are directly ovedr the landing area your AAD might never fire. Second, opening Jim higher allowed valubale added time for Jim to recover before landing and have more landing options. Where is the advantage of having less time? Would Jim have been any more aware or have more options with less time? No. I got home from LP Monday night and talked with Jim. He is still a bit sore but doing okay. Keep an eye on your friends and be safe up there. Jeff Sanders If life is suppose to take you where you need to be...Am I there yet?
  3. Bad news, the midget penguins died today of heat...Good news...BBQ this weekend! I forgot to mention that Tommy Pirus will be load organizing. Tommy will NOT be naked, but he will be dead. Be sure to bring guns, beer, ammo, beer, small explosives (unless you have large explosives, then bring them) beer and potatoes. I have no idea what we are going to do with all the potatoes yet. Oh, and you might want to bring a parachute too. Jeff Sanders If life is suppose to take you where you need to be...Am I there yet?
