Im stationed in monterey, Ca I may know of a guy who will give me AFF for 1000. Not sure if that includes re jumps There a few good places around here from what im told... SMB, Skydance and a few more... Should i plan on spending that money on just getting certified.. and if so can i plan on having any left over for gear?

I make practically no money (military). But i want to get into skydiving. I have $2700 to spend on it. How should i use that money toward getting trained, and getting as much equipment as i can possibly afford. I understand it wont be much. Thanks

Santa Barbara has anyone been to skydive santa barbra, and has anyone done the AFF there... Its the cheapest in my area but i was wondering if there is a reason for that. Thanks

fortunately im in the military, so i wont have to resort to top ramen since I get free food. Unfortunatly i get very little pay. :/ I hope it works out....

Thanks alot for all of the good advice guys.... I have about 5 grand to spend on this.... I had my first jump about a year ago now, im finally in a situation where i can (almost?) afford to do this as a hobby....

I was just wondering how much it takes to get started... Im talking certified, and all the gear you need.. Thanks.
