  2. Anyone have a place for two fellow jumpers to stay April 20-21 for the Sun N Fun event. We are traveling from Houston, TX and are looking for anywhere to crash close to the action in Lakeland. Also, anyone heading from the Tampa area Friday the 20th to the Sun N Fun event?

  5. Hey Lee,
My name is Doug and my girl friend and I are interested in making a Baffin trip. We are currently in Houston right now but have been living in Norway (Elin is the instructor at Kjerag) We do a lot of 3-6000ft vertical climbing when we jump the mountains of central norway. I have to be honest, I have never done an artic expidition but we manage Norway in the winter and lots of climbing in the summer (no pussy's here) Most of our experience is big wall base (around 350-450 jumps for each of us) Let me know what your looking for. We will be going back to Norway for the summer to work at Kjerag again (june-august) if that helps. Other than that, we are free until that time.

  6. Still in Norway jumping 5000+ ft cliffs, I will head home in late November.
Maybe I can bring myself to fly with you guys, I guess I will have to bust out the pants and jacket so I can get down to you guys...

  7. Kris, give it a break buddy.....Your vents are in the same position as mine, I dont seem to have any problems. Of course the vents will lay flat when your not jumping. There were three V2's jumping with me today from a cliff and the vents all layed flat, even Mr. Phoenix Fly's himself. Once you exit they inflate right away. You do understand areodynamics, correct? Low pressure\high pressure, lift, etc., right? The low pressure on the top of the wing allows the inlets to open (bernoulies principle or somehting like that) I find that these vents maintain pressure better than others as well. They are harder to depressurize when collapsing the wings to dive down. All I am saying is that maybe its hard to get those vents to open while behind a computer:P. Take care man, had a good time in Kjerag!
