Although Waldo was 3 months my junior, he adopted my husband and I as his “kids”. I don’t know how we were so lucky to be loved by him….. Waldo came to visit us just last week here in Florida. We had a great weekend, he was upbeat and happy. He was going to take me to get my first tattoo during his trip, but we just ran out of time. I was so scared…wasn’t sure I could go through with getting it. But Tigger is very convincing. Last night (11/3) I had this overwhelming need to get my tattoo… my husband (Scott) took me to get it, but I almost chickened out because Waldo wasn’t here to make the dude be nice to me. But I went through with it. I couldn’t wait to email Waldo my art! (so here it is Waldo) I was at work this morning when Scott called me with the news that our dear friend was gone…… there are no words to express our loss….the world truly was a better place with Tigger in it. Even when he’s gone, he makes us do things….he’ll impact us for the rest of our lives. I never could thank him enough for that. Waldo was a guy who changed people’s lives. He made you a stronger person, a happier person, a better person. It’s not fair that he’s gone, but thank God we knew him while he was here! -Caron
