my advice as a previous aff student last year would be to head south Bagwarrior is right about the weather, plus i here the school in seville is fab. i went to the FreeFall University, but wouldn't go back if you paid me 3 students to 1 instructor lots of hanging around, instructing is being passed from one instructor to another and dust devils are shocking, the guy that runs it is only interested in taking your money and you only see him when he wants more money. instructors not very helpful dz 20 mins away from where you stay. transport provided by other students not the school and website is full of BS

can anyone provide good sound knowledge of where to learn to skydive in spain over the winter

why would you want to wrap up the thread, afraid? i hope i have reached many students out there contemplating going to the Freefall university... my advice stay well clear.... ex student

Hi Skymama not an ex employee, just pissed of exstudent, what ever you may think i thought this was supposed to be impartial and not edited in the favour of the DZ's the only reason i have mentioned other dz's is because i have heard that they are very good..... and i want everyone in dz land to know about my bad experience.... so people can make there own minds up

As i have said before i would, learn to skydive with either freefall addicts or skyrats they both have very good reputations, the Freefall university may have these also but you are not aware who has put the stuff on here, i have heard that quite a few staff pose as students on dz.com, which i think is unfair to all the potential students out there, who read these and make up a decision based on what people say in here... my experience was bad of the freefall university....

Well Gadget dean it would seem that your not happy about anyone else having an opinion.. maybe you ought to move to a dictator state so that your opinion is the only one that counts.... all prospective students to the Freefall university are entitled to have the good and bad made available to them so they can then make an informed choice thats what living in a democratic society is all about, my experience was bad but i'm not going to lie about it, so that many more people can go there and return feeling the same as me. i've made my reasons clear why i was not happy.. as for bagwarrior, maybe he had the same experience...

Crack on mike you've just undercut the FFU they are offering AFF for 1200 euros... and i've heard your much better, its about time David and the freefall university got some bad press, instead of all Davids mate bigging the place up I hope you get many AFF students.. cracking price....

we are open to debate but when some one has ripped you and several other students off while your there you do end up bad mouthing.. whilst i was there my instructor had several students as did the other insturctors who were there... so to say you have one to one is a lie... which is what it says on the site "don't advertise what you haven't got or are going to do... also on reading on the post on this site it would seem david was asked to leave what is now the freefall addicts anyone know why? and the fact that his instructor status is nomore?

it would seem that for all the people that have had good experiences ...edit, thinking about yourselves people have the right to know about the bad things as well as the good, can anyone of you tell me if you've seen the shuttle bus or did you all share each others cars? can you also tell me about the coach that is there for days out? if its such a good place why would you have to lie about it? oh and the bullshit about one instructor per student this was not true when i was there.....

hi i would probably try the freefall addicts(freefall university's old spot at lillo) or Skyrats in barcelona, been to the FFU...edit.... they promise a video of you jumps but you don't get one have to pay extra for DVD 55 euros, you pay upfront for the course and if you have to repeat any levels they wont use the money you've already paid, you have to pay again.. if you want to be ripped off try the freefall university
