  1. Do what you makes you happy. Do you put such limitations on her activities? If so, why? If you enjoy the time you ARE together, you both should lighten up! Spending time with someone should not result in ownership. It is kind of a pet peeve of mine... when I read something like this it reminds me of how glad I am that I do not have to deal with such.
But I have been there. I will probably be alone for a long, long, time. I have gotten accustomed to it.
    Best to you!!

  2. But you know what?
If I had it all to do again, I would have to do it all again.
No regrets. Life has been really good to me. I have to acknowledge that.
Today is the best day of my life and from now on I will live it as such!!

  3. I was definitely the "Black Sheep" in my younger days. I was the only "hippie" in the family and thank God it was the 70s. I am sure I would not have survived in todays world doing the things that I did. Just about partied myself out before the age of 25. Married my psychologist who was 24 years my senior. Continued to be the odd-ball of the bunch! (He was an odd-ball too) Had a baby, he left, and I became an ADULT. Remarried and played the good wife/mother for 16 years. Didn't have fun for the majority of them. I woke up one day and decided I would try and learn how to laugh again and have not looked back!! Found whitewater and the sky somewhere in there and am soooo happy now! I am the "Black Sheep" once again...I think I am most comfortable there. I like having the independence of marching to my own drummer. Don't think I will ever have it any other way!!

  4. (Trae...The 4 & 1/2 cracks me up!!)

The only time I was able to stand a landing was AFF level 4.9 (I did mine in increments...slow learner). The chute then inflated and began to drag me backwards. My wonderful instructor was telling me (more than once) to "pull one toggle and walk to the other side" and I couldn't figure out WHICH other side. He then came across loud and clear saying "do you see the plane behind you? IT IS WAITING FOR YOU TO MOVE" I suddenly became superwoman and was able to drag it, and myself out of the way.
    Just plain embarrassing.

I totally committed myself to raising the most wonderful person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will graduate this June and he is without a doubt my proudest moment. His name is Evan.

  6. A couple is about to have sex for the first time...
As he takes his shoes off, the lady notices that his toes are all curled up, "What in the world happened to your toes?"
"When I was a child I had toelio" he replied.
She thought for a moment, "don't you mean polio?"
"No," he said, "I had toelio"
He then removed his pants and she noticed his knees were all rough and swollen. "O.K., what's with the knees?" she asked.
"When I was a teenager I had the kneesles." was his answer.
"I think you mean the measles" she said.
    "Nope. I had kneesles!"
He continued to undress and as he removed his underwear he heard a loud gasp!!
"OH NO..LET ME GUESS..YOU HAD SMALL COCKS TOO!'

  7. I am new to skydiving and just want to introduce myself. I am an AFF student and hope to complete the course on Saturday. I did my first jump, a tandem, the first weekend in August. I knew within 10 minutes of landing that I wanted to jump on my own. Never would I have guessed that! My progress so far has been slow but steady. I am in no hurry, but it would be great to pass level 7 in one jump! Wish me well!
I apologize for not introducing myself sooner. I didn't know the proper protocol.

  8. I am a die-hard John Lennon fan. I absolutely loved his weirdness. He was quite the eccentric. The "Mind Games" years are just out there!! My oldest son was born naturally, one month early, and guess what?? On John Lennon's birthday, October 9th.

  9. Currently in GA if a recipient has received cash benefits for ten months and gets pregnant, the cash benefit does not increase with the birth of the additional child. Remember, however, that those on assistance are also receiving the benefits of Medicaid and most receive Food Stamps. We are not removing basic support from them. The Government has low income housing available, the rent can be zero, or it may be as low as $2 monthly, and they will also provide a utility check that should well pay for a month of utility use. Therefore, reducing or cutting the "Welfare check" is not withholding the taxpayers privilege of providing the basic needs of these poor people that choose to have children that they are unable to support. Also most of the mothers will receive child support from the fathers at the amount of 30% of his wages. They, and the government, expect the father to take responsibility for his irresponsible sexual behavior. The mother does not have to provide a dime for the care of this child. I don't think most people resent helping someone who is in need as long as the recipient does not have the attitude that they are entitled to it.
