  1. Hi Me and my wife are going on a trip in north eastern USA and Canada in the end of June / beginning of July. We'll be flying in to New York and then driving north towards Montreal and Toronto. Is there anyone out there that knows of a place where we can go jumping from a hot air balloon? Please feel free to recommend other events/boogies we should not miss :) Thanks!
  2. Thank you for good and informative answers. Just let me ask you a few follow-up questions... Would you say that the quality with the adventure cam plugged into a mini-dv camera is as good (or almost as good) as videos recorded by the camera itself? If I read between the lines here, the Archos device gives quality good enough for funjumping, but not as good as say a Sony DCR PC-330E?
  3. Hi I'm relatively new in skydiving and I'm thinking of bying a video camera. I've found a camera called Adventure Cam 3 from a company called Viosport http://www.viosport.com/store/customer/ourgear.php?page=ac3_overview Is there anyone out there who have tried this camera skydiving or have read anything about it. Will it keep from breaking at 200 km/h? Any comments appreciated :)
  4. Hi I have a couple of questions about the easter boogie at Empuriabrava. Hopefully someone out there has some knowledge about it and is willing to share it... 1. Is there a lot of traffic in the air? I am new to the sport and have only jumped in Norway so far, where there were a maximum of twenty canopies in the air. 2. Is there a minimum number of required jumps? 3. Does the boogie have a focus? For instance a lot of FS or a lot of FF. I tried to look for some info on the Empuriabrava web site, but all I could find was an advertising poster...
  5. Thanks for the tip to get more jumps. However, I was planning to go this autumn and my goal is to get around 100 jumps this summer. That would give me ~150 jumps. I hope this should be sufficient...
  6. Hi all I'm brand new in this great sport and to get a head start, I thought I'd try to go on one or two boogies this year. I was wondering if anyone out there know of any "exotic boogies". Landing on the beach in a warm country is what I'm talking about
  7. Does anybody out there know anything about the dropzone Skydive Venezuela? Has anyone been there and can tell me something interesting? Was it good, is it safe, etc?
