  1. Thanks Dawn, and please pass on my appreciation to John for making this possible. See you in the fall. Blue Skies Sean George Skydive PA.
  2. Glad that you are moving forward! I did the back flips and barrel rolls and I will not be diving in the Olympics anytime soon. I was told though that the Jumpmaster looks more at the ability to regain control after losing it, (Something that I am quite good at) rather than the perfect execution of a roll or flip. I just did my solo last weekend and it was great. I have to tell ya', the support that I received from fellow jumpers was largely responsible for my not giving up. What a great bunch of folks!!!!!! BLUE SKIES!! Sean George
  3. Hi, I am now at level 9 with 16 jumps but did 6 level 4 jumps each time with similar problems. I received the same message that you did from the folks at the DZ. It will come......hang in there. More than just a few of the folks there had suggested spending time in a wind tunnel, and I finally took their advice. It was well worth the trip to North Carolina and the $300.00 for 30 minutes of air time . I received excellent coaching and a videotape that I found to be very useful. The coaching and video were included in the fee. I think that for me this was a great way to go. Hope that you get through this "stuck point". Blue skies. Sean George Pennsylvania
  4. Thanks...........booked airtime for later this week!
  5. Thank you for taking time for me Matt!
  6. Hi, Sean George -jumping at Skydive PA. (9 jumps presently at level 5) After much trouble with a dearch problem secondary to low back problems, I am looking into buying time in a wind tunnel to work on the Box. I attempted to contact the Tunnel in Pigeon Forge Tenn., but got a message.....not a human. I sent an email that went unanswered. I am hesitant to drive 7.5 hours to Tenn. not knowing any information other than what they provide on their site. Anyone have experience with these-obviously busy folks? Thanks......Sean George
  7. HI, I am new to the sport with 8 jumps. I am presently at level 4 IAF, and have stayed there for three jumps due to an inability to arch, which has lead to an unstable freefall. I went to a Physiacal Therapist for stretching and strenghtening excercises that I am hoping will help , if even a little. My problem stems from a back problem in which my fifth lumbar vertebra has shifted forward substantially on my sacrum. While it can be quite painful, to date it has been manageable...............Any suggetsions?
  8. I am new to the sport and as a result of a lumbo-sacral abnormality, I cannot get into enough of an arch to provide adequate freefall stability. Also, the lack of an arched body position has lent itself to a slow drop speed. Any suggestions?
