  1. Hey all, Thanks to a friend of mine I have this unfullfilled wish to learn skydiving. Well, herein lies a slight problem. I'm a bit of a heavy set guy (read: fatass). Currently I am at 282 lbs. I have started trying to lose weight, but it's not exactly flying off. Currently I live in Holland, but September 2006 I'll be in the US for about a month due to holidays, wedding and photosnapping all around. So I have a year and a half to lose 45 lbs and to save up for the trip and if all goes well, the course. What are my options? Should I stay on the ground and shoot landing pix the rest of my life, or is there a chance I can be stepping out of an airplane any time soon. My goal would be losing about 20kg (about 45lbs), but will that be enough? I am not looking into doing a tandem jump first to see "if I like it" but I'm looking into actually learning and getting my papers. Any help would be great! Ron -- www.outrageousphotography.nl
