I had a GREAT time seeing and jumping with y'all.

I didn't dig out my camera or camcorder because I figured I'd let the pros and the sober people take care of that. So dying to see the vid. And anyone with personal photos can send them my way as well.

When is the next big event, as in going to see Joe's band, or house party, or just naked frivolity at the DZ??

Okay, I can finally post because I know FOR SURE I am off. I am off till Tues, so count me in for WHATEVER!!!

You should know I'm always lurking around, but as for why I don't usually post and can't give a solid answer to your questoin is because I don't like to join in or comment unless I KNOW I can make it. I SHOULD be able to, but you never know what the job has in store. I'm also still waiting to see if I can make SkyFest '05 as well.

Right now I'm roughing it in Callie, I'll be back in town next week.

I just flew into San Diego today (10 Jun, Fri) and I'm here till the 27th, if any of my friends I've met are around town. Hopefully this "June gloom" will disappear. I'd like to make the rounds to Perris, Elsinore, and SD San Diego if possible while I'm here.

Send me a shout out if anyone is lurking out there, or just to say hi. I've heard back from Rosa so far.

I've had offers on or near the DZ for places to crash, now I'm seeing who lives closer to Raliegh so when I go to LongBranch on Sat nights I can come knocking on your doors.

I am bummed I missed last Thurs, I was on the fence wether to drop by or not, but I knew I had a LONG drive ahead, heading to Xkeys. It was a GREAT time btw. Good thing I got there Fri, because we got rained out Sat, and then snuck in a few Sun before getting on the road.

Got my German HALO wings Thurs, that rocked! Snuck down to Laurinburg between working to make that happen.

I think I'll be down at Raeford Sat at least a buddy wants to meet up there.

Done for another week and I am SMOKED... good night!

It is a GREAT DZ with GREAT people! Fill in your profile so if you come down we'll know who you are.

Like Jake said, The Aviators Pub is one of the nice things about it, you can grab a bite to eat right there on the DZ either between jumps or waiting to jump, or grab a beer after jumping. They have showers, camping, and a gear shop.

Folks from all the military demo teams jump there and they are all professionals.

Speaking of which, anyone heading up to Xkeys for their boogie next weekend? I was HOPING to have the end of the week through the weekend off, but now it looks like I'll have to go in for an HOUR on Fri, how gay!! So guess I'll be on the road right after that, and coming home Sunday.

Now it sounds like I have to go into work for a bit on Fri, so much for the vacation, but still HOPING to be on the road AS SOON AS done Friday!

Most skydivers are easy going and will talk to you, so look for anyone in a jumpsuit. If there are grippers on thier jumpsuit (puffy things like large hot dogs) then you will get an intelligent conversation, if there aren't grippers, expect to talk to a drugged out hippie from CA...dude!
