  1. Have you tried testing stuff while he was actually wearing the rig with an arch on, when no ones wearing the rig the main tray and the reserve tray can bend away from each other so it would always seem loose when its not closed. the only thing i can think of is it was tight somehow, but tight enough for 100lb not to pull it out? unlikely. i dunno then.
  2. i have to hire kit so i don't neccessarily jump my own pack jobs, but i always pack after i jump, i got my packing certificate the next weekend after my first jump. but i did jump my own pack job on my first jump.
  3. a DP is a dummy pull, its like a fake ripcord you pull and show to the jumpmaster while your still on static line, its practice for when you have to pull it yourself.
  4. Hi I'm Alexei, I just started skydiving this academic year, just thought I'd say hi. I go to bristol uni (uk) and do math. I'm on a raps course. I've done 5 jumps so far, and I'm on DPs, (I failed to get my second DP >_< ) so i got 2 more to do still. But the weather is being pants so it may be a while before I get onto freefall. anyway, err. Any tips on getting the DP so I don't mess up again? oh and er Hi. ^_^
