Hi there, I jump with a Canon EOS 20D, and use a bite switch. I stripped the original Canon Remote (only for the plug that goes in the body) and connected a conceptus Bite switch to it. The problem I have is that the camera goes into standby after about 30 seconds, and can't be woken up anymore via the bite switch (normally via the shutter button done). The only way to wake it up again is to switch on and of, which is very annoying in freefall . Has anyone some help for me, is it maybe a menu setting in the camera or wrong soldering of wires from my side, or even software camera problems. Thanks for the help in advance. Norb
