    London Rigger

I'm a jumper who has just moved to London. Does anyone know a rigger who can repack my reserve as and when it becomes due in the London region? (Incidentally, it's due now, and I want to have it ready to jump next weekend.) I've tried ringing the DZs nearby, and none can recommend anyone in London, but there must be someone who lives in this huge city, no?! Thanks in advance
  2. Yeah, that's what I figured. If I've got to pay a few on my own back, then that's fine. It'll be worth it for the overall experience. Thanks for your comments.
  3. Hi all, Can anyone help me out here with some wise words/suggestions/advice? I've been skydiving for a number of years, mainly in the UK, but also abroad, and have accumulated 400 or so jumps. I mainly do flat-flying (4-way pools and large group formations), but I've also been experimenting with camera flying. I've really enjoyed doing the latter, having followed (quite successfully) a number of tandems and I'd like to do some more... a lot more! I've got a number of months off this coming year (basically June/July through to March 2006), and would love to get a job on a DZ filming tandems/AFF - preferably somewhere in the sun, with good weather. I'd originally been thinking of Aussie/NZ (due to the large no. of tandems they do), but I'm quite flexible. I'm mainly interested in the experience I'd glean from it, and the air-time that I'd be getting - not too fussed about the money (enough to live on would be nice). I figured that with my relatively few no.s of jumps it might be worth approaching a smallish DZ, that is 'on it's way up', rather than a big scale operation - thinking that they'd probably be more accommodating - but that was just a thought?! Does anyone know a good place to start looking? Cheers!
  4. Thanks... I'll get in touch with them. Blue skies
  5. Has anyone got Leigh Ainsworth's contact details (preferably email)? I read the article 'Profession in Adrenaline' and would like to contact her about her camera-work. Cheers!
