Hey I'm possibly coming out to Memphis soon for work.
Were is it good to jump around there? and how far
away?
Is there any windtunnels around there?

Anyone tried jumping in rockclimbing shoes? I always assumed that
a shoe that conformed to your foot would be best for freeflying,
but have never tested it. I always jump in my runners for support on landing.
But now I think about it having that good edge on the shoe would
be good for control and movement.
Maybe I will test my rockclimbing shoes someday soon and see what happens.

The reason I would think would be to gain more control and awareness from learing how to fly with just your lower body. Which would help when flying with hands in front and turning points.

Is flying with no arms possible?
Sure is possible, this is one of my fav things to do,
just cross your arms over your chest and try fly it.
I put a hand on each opposite sholder, feels mad when you speed up from it.

too because they don't have the co-ordination in there ankles and knees to snowboard.

Unicycle is awesome for head up i reckon. and just mastering the
uni is awesome for confidence, seeing as it so hard a first.

Hey, just wondering what cross training people do to improve
their Freeflying?
I've found that my mountain biking and weight training has started
to have a positive effect on my flying.
+ the unicycle and juggling has improved my general co-ordination
in the air.

Part of the problem is the tiny little earpeices, get some of those
big ass ones that cover your whole ear and stop sound leakage
so you don't have to have em so loud. Also good for blocking out
the sounds of annoying idiots.
But I think the biggest prob for a skydiver is not wearing earplugs in
the plane. This will kill your hearing 10 times faster than your iplod.
I see so many people doing this, why?
