  1. Raistlin,
Nothing planned but you know what it's like hearding cats. I'm sure that if things are over soon enough then we can put something together. And yes the moon should be bright since its not full until Thursday.

  2. O.K. I'll give you that the weather can be unpredictable but at the end of summer it usually is good and I'd say you stand a good chance of doing it. Hell I did 7 jumps this weekend, and yesterday and today I was in no mood to be jumping alot so I'm sure I could have doubled that number.

  3. The last jump I did with Josh and I believe his last fun jump was out of the 182. Josh was going to rodeo me and Kelly was going to shoot stills. The exit went to hell and I ended up on his back like we had left the plane that way. In my video you can see a "how the hell did you get back there?" look on his face. We broke off, him in a sit and me on my belly, had more fun and landed, laughing and trying to figure out just how we did that. Good times.

  4. Probably the most recent one was when I was showing him how to work on brakes. We had done the front brakes on his truck and were doing the brakes on his mom's little truck. As we were putting the rear back together one of the springs was being a pain and Josh was trying to find a tool to make it easier to stretch back into place. He comes up with a sparkplug wire crimping tool that has a hook on one end. He had no idea what the tool was for and I laughed a little. He asked what was funny and I said I had never seen anyone try to use a wire crimper to do brakes. He said that sometimes you just have to use whats available and it looked like it would work.
Or when Josh sat on the floor with a dog cookie in his mouth just to get our dog to lick his face.

  5. If I thought it would bring him back I would let everyone that has ever met Josh stand in line and punch me in the belly. But I know it won't.

And you usually end up hitting me in the arm.

  6. It's not midnight yet so it's not late. And with all of the jello shots you were handing out last night she may have slept the day away.

    Happy Birthday Karen.

P.S. It's almost 1200. Should we pie her when she gets there?

  9. I am assuming that your z-28 is the 92-02 model and it has either a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission. There should be both a drain and fill plug on the side of the transmisson. Remove them both and drain the fluid out. You can get a small pump from a local autoparts store for about $10-$15 dollars to fill it back up. Look in your owners manual for the proper type of fluid. Be careful when pulling out the plugs. Some GM transmissions have a reverse pin that is near the drain/fill holes that look the same on the outside. Get the GM manual for the car. They can run between $100-$200 for the set. They usually consist of 2 books and you could get only the one you need to save some $. Another alternative is to get a Haynes manual. I think they are the best for the money they cost (about $15) and will cover most of the basics. As for the differential, you need a gasket, fluid, and posi-traction additive. There is usually a fill plug on the passenger side, above the axle tube. just remove the cover (10 bolts) and drain, clean the cover and any magnet that may be in there, remove any old gasket from the housing and put it back togather. You can then fill it up with your new fluid pump (after you clean the pump) and away you go.

I'm sorry Ms. Alexander. Can I still have my
cookie after nap time? Or do I have to stand
    in the corner?

    Steve,
Come out and play any time you'd like. We'll
    be there.

  11. Jeanne,
I don't know what happened between you and Tyson but do you think this is the appropriate way to handle it. I don't agree with everything he does but in the end he is the one responsible for the DZ. He spends A LOT of his time and energy trying to improve the place. Buying the 206, building a new manifest/student building, getting the Caravan whenever it was available even when the weather was crap.
Remember that Snohomish is not a DZ first, it is an airport, and that being so, it has to be ran different than other DZ's. I'm not saying that it is the only one in the U.S. like it but that does matter in how it is ran.
