  3. I humbly consider the DZ where I took my FJC as my home DZ. It's a club, low key, non-commercial and loads of fun. Whenever I go back to Ohio, I always visit and make a few jumps.

    Now, I'm a full timer, having moved to GA a year and a half ago. Graciously accepted into the OrFun brotherhood I serve in the high salary position of "Executive in charge of a lot of things" for RoamingDZ (self appointed of course ).

  4. I enjoy NASCAR and remember watching on Saturdays on ABC's Wide World of Sports. NASCAR has become so commercialized that it detracts from the good old paint swappin and such.

    I like Michael Waltrip, he's funny, honest, and hard working. Don't know too much about some of the new young guns unfortunately. I did meet Jeff Gordon once at an auto parts store and still think he's a pussy.

    On my drive down to GA from OH I stopped at DEI. Recommend that stop to anyone.

    I have State Farm, a Mutual Company. I pay $174.00 q 6 months for full coverage on a full size commercial pickup truck. And, get a rebate check every year. But as alluded to previously in this thread, I'm 47, No accidents, no tickets, EVER. :)

    Fox News Rocks!, O'Reilly Rocks, Hannity Rocks! Yes, I love Fox News Channel. And, yes, I have to agree, Some of what is on NPR is alot of left wing liberal tree huggin crap. But, all I ask is that you let me enjoy mine and you can certainly enjoy yours.

    And, yes Donna, I listen to NPR, I actually like the Car Talk show ... but I doubt you will ever see me as a loyalist to NPR ... :) And of course, given Brie's course of professional study, she's expected and probably required to be a listener ... B|

    Thank God for that! I remember the days when the residents worked until they could no longer funtion.

    Paramedic - 24 on, 48 off
    ER/ICU RN - 48 to plus overtime per week
    Flight RN - 48 per week on base, much less actually flying missions.

    NOW - Full time skydiver - Probably less than 5-6 hours per week of actual "work" .... go figure:P

  15. Mine are generally some tongue in cheek comment. Currently, since I have a new puppy and other puppies might observe him running ... and since the lawyers seem to think we need a disclaimer for everything ... we didn't want to be faced with litigation in case another unsuspecting canine over extended themselves and became injured in anyway .... I'm LMAO as I write this ... thanks for the outlet.

  24. When I was a little kid, I saw skydivers at the county fair. Knew I always wanted to do that. Took a static line FJC in 1991 and my instructor, Rick Kuhns was probably one of the demo jumpers.

    Besides, it really pissed off my soon to be EX wife ;)
