Confirmed so far are a low $35 registration to include organizing, raffle tickets, tshirt, dinner and Margarita Madness Sat Night.   9. Freefly Scrambles in San Diego July 19 2008 This will be a 5 round event that is an individual competition. NO TEAMS NEEDED!! Videographers will be provided. There will be two categories: intermediate(simple sitfly moves) and open(must be able to take docks headdown). Compete for prizes and most importantly bragging rights! Cost is $165 which includes jumps.(The extra is to help cover video slots). Competitors must be registered by 6 pm July 18. Fees can be paid on day of event.   11. Team Xaos with team member Jeffro Provenzano will be hosting a canopy skills camp Jan 25-26 in San Diego. Cost is $100 per day including morning seminars and 6 coach jumps with video debriefs. More details and a flier will be posted shortly.

  13. Skydive San Diego will be having $10 jumps to altitude Wednesday Nov 2 from 2:30pm - sunset and Wednesday Nov 9 from 1:00pm - sunset
  14. A license of at least A is required for the helicopter. We are not taking advanced slots for the chopper, it will be a day of thing. See everyone here!
  15. I have just received news that we have a helicopter confirmed for Sunday. The chopper will be here all of Sun afternoon and the price of jumps will be between $50-55. It just keeps getting better for the boogie!
  16. We are hoping for a big turnout of people from all aspects of skydiving. I haven't seen the "flock" around in a while, but it would be great to see some bird people around. For Bobby, the party is partly sponsored by Buzz Bomb, a company that makes gel energy shots. They are very tastey! On Sat. night we will have Buzz Bomb girls passing them out. Less than a week away!

  18. The rules for the transition challenge will be posted by the end of the week. I just received word that Team Icarus Evolution will be premiering their DVD on the big screen Fri night. There should be some good s#@t on it. Anyone looking for a place to stay can check with the DZ for space in the bunkhouse, I think it is pretty vacant for that weekend as of now. See everybody in a little over a week!
  19. The Boogie is almost here and everybody is stoked. We have two bands confirmed for Sat night. Thurs night everybody is heading over to The Tavern on the Beach for drinks and watching the days jumps at the bar. Fri night we will have a BBQ with food, drinks and videos being played on a huge screen. Sat night will be a catered event with bands, food, drinks, videos, sumo wrestling, and a bouncy fly on the wall thing. Sunday we are going to put together some interesting hybrids. Registration is only $40 with $16 jumps. This will include an awesome t-shirt among other things. The transition challenge is going to be rad. It is open to all licensed jumpers whether belly, sit, or feet up. Representatives from Icarus, Gatorz, Infinity, PD and other companies will be on site. We are hoping for a huge turnout and a chance to see a lot of new faces. Matt
  20. About a year and a half ago a friend and myself did a downplane with a velo 84 and a velo 90. Our pro-tracks averaged about 88-90 mph. I was wondering if anyone else has attempted such feat. I know there have been x-braced side planes but I have not heard of a downplane.
