  1. Ummm, didn't you quit jumping this summer?? And, although it was entertaining to cut Nick Grillet's demo, I'm now jumping a RDS just so I can avoid such issues in the future!
  2. This has quickly become my favorite jump plane. It's big, it's quick, it's got a great door and a great step. AND, it's only 30 min from the heart of KC!
  3. Leave those 182's behind! Jimmy the Midwest Legend will be there providing inspiration to us all and signing autographs. Don't miss this chance to get your picture with the Legend and the Beech 99! What a combo!
  4. This is true. I remember when Jimmy made his first jump...he made the tandem instructor wear the harness and taught him to arch. He is a born natural. Even if I'm not fortunate enough to jump with the Legend due to the demand for his time, the boogie is well worth the drive. Frank and LSPC put on a great show.
  5. This is no rumor. I witnessed 2 ladies demonstrate their appreciation for his abilities. The Midwest Legend has more ladies than he does jumps, and that's a lot. -Jason
  6. I'll be there! I just had the good fortune to jump with "The Jimmy Coiner" this past weekend at the Hillbilly boogie - a true inspiration to us all. No doubt, I won't miss the opportunity to jump with the Midwest Legend again. -Jason
  7. Anyone know anymore information about this? Media doesn't say if he was a skydiver or even wearing a rig? MAN WHO JUMPED FROM AIRPLANE IDENTIFIED The Capital-Journal Authorities today identified a man killed in an apparent suicide Monday afternoon after he jumped from a small airplane in eastern Geary County. Sheriff Jim Jensen said Scott Marshall, 31, of Manhattan, was in an airplane flying at an elevation of about 2,500 feet when he jumped from the plane, which had taken off from Manhattan Regional Aiport. Marshall was one of three people inside in the plane, although authorities said they weren't releasing information about whether the other two occupants knew about the jump. An autopsy is scheduled for today, Jensen said. Geary County authorities learned from Riley County police at about 2:15 p.m. that someone may have committed suicide by jumping above the area of Humboldt Creek Road, south of Interstate 70. Authorities from Geary County, Riley County and the Kansas Highway Patrol then began their search using fixed-wing aircraft, global positioning equipment and a highway patrol helicopter. Marshall was found at about 4:30 p.m. near Humboldt Creek and Schmedemann roads.
