Oh please, show me some examples of that!
45 minutes ago, Slim King said:It's all about election integrity.
No it's not. It's all about rule of law. Trump's bogus claims of election fraud were contested in courts of law and found grievously devoid of actual facts. It takes more than passionate Youtube videos to convince a judge. Even a judge appointed by Republicans. Even a judge appointed by Trump himself.

How are her court cases going?

Just now, Slim King said:It was a stolen election. It was about election integrity and it still is.
You still don't get what a con man he is, do you?

1 hour ago, Slim King said:Back in my day people took over public buildings in political protest all the time. In this case the police killed 4 protestors. That hasn't happened since the Viet Nam war. The protestors we 100% correct then and they are 100% correct now. J6 is a huge deal and it didn't't have to happen. After the Republicans take the house back then Pelosi will be on her way to an eventual arrest.
So Trump had nothing to do with it according to you?

12 hours ago, Slim King said:Trump hasn't held a public office for over 2 years now and you STILL can't get him out of your brain..ROTFLMAO.
So Jan 6 was no big deal to you, I suppose?

Murkowski was the only R senator to vote to convict Trump during the impeachment. That's not true. You might be thinking of the first impeachment when only one senator (Romney) voted to convict.
For the jan 6 impeachment, 7 Republican senators voted to convict.

In 2020, 74,223,975 voters chose 4 more years of a deranged moron as POTUS.
So I have very little faith in the electorate making logical decisions.
I agree it was a risky move. But in this case, it was successful, and may very well make the difference between a single digit Republican advantage in the House or a double digit one.

On 10/19/2022 at 6:46 PM, ryoder said:In CO, independent voters are mailed two ballots in primaries (Rep, Dem); We can mail in either one, but not both. So in the last primary, I mailed in the GOP ballot, selecting the most sane of the candidates on the ballot.
On the other hand that goes against the controversial (but mostly successful) strategy of Democrats boosting the less sane Republican candidates, aniticipating that they would be easier to defeat.

Sarcasm is only effective when there is some agreed upon standard of crazy. Otherwise, it's too difficult to distinguish that sarcasm from an intentional argument. Unfortunately, what was once considered off the wall crazy is now the norm and it will only get worse with the developments at Twitter.

Oh no. I come out of hibernation and post after all these years just to get trolled into a sarcasm trap! Well played. I should have learned from this thread.

January 6 insurrection participants are patriotic Americans that have been disenfranchised by a rigged election forcing the greatest president in history out of office.
it’s different.
Rigged Election? Let me guess. You saw a video and it was so convincing.
Thank God the integrity of our elections is kept in check by courts of law and not by Youtube videos.
At least so far.

This may have been asked before but is there any way to obtain the video from the Freefly Chronicles series? Does anyone still have the VHS cassettes? Better still, has anyone digitized them?
I used to have volumes II and III and they were amazing. It would be a shame if that little slice of history is lost. -

Top of the line. -
QuoteI dunno... I would view it as an inherently unstable configuration since the twist "wants" to get undone, and would probably result in a downplane (as I think happened here with some sort of input).
Then again, even being a reformed dirty low-puller, never had the opportunity to have a 2 out, so it's all very theoretical for me at this point.
I guess the point I'm making is that you probably wouldn't want to "encourage" the untwisting of a single line twist by pulling on the riser. Or do you disagree? It would be good to have procedure to follow if we find ourselves in such a situation. -
QuoteQuoteWas that downplane induced by trying to bring his main to the front?
It looked pretty landable before the riser-work.
Well, except for the full line twist on the main.
Would a single line twist on one canopy of a two-out mean it's not landable though? You still have plenty of nylon over your head. -
Nik is a great coach. I've done over 6 hours with him during the last two Xmas boogies. Really good ability to analyze your weaknesses and design drills to correct them. -

As for the second part. The blue states continually contribute more in taxes than they get back while the red states get more than they contribute. Than means that the lazy freeloading blue states actually are the ones that support the hard working patriotic red states
Texas is a notable exception...getting shafted even worse than California.
But not worse than New York. -
QuoteQuoteQuoteQuoteQuoteRomney vowed to put the country back to work if elected president.
48% of the people said, "Now we have real hope."
47% of the people said, "F*** that s***.
5% of the people went to the polls with their heads down suffering from guilt because they have a job and voted for BHO.
You still haven't figured out that:
1. You and people just like you are the ones causing this nation to be divided.
Oh, I see. It's all Ron's fault. All that 'class war' bullshit that has been spewed by the left has been completely meaningless.
I don't know about the rest of you, but when someone slaps me in the face I write them off. Screw 'em.
Show me where I said that the right was the cause. I said people like him, not republicans. first of all he claims to not be a republican. Secondly he is as divisive as anyone that I have ever seen post. He continually posts about how stupid and horrible half the country is then complains about how divided things have become. People like him on both sides of the aisle are the reason that we are so divided.
Then he continually advocates that half of the country secede from the union. If that isn't divisive then I don't know what is.
As for the second part. The blue states continually contribute more in taxes than they get back while the red states get more than they contribute. Than means that the lazy freeloading blue states actually are the ones that support the hard working patriotic red states
Well good, at least you acknowledge that it's a mutual problem.

QuoteQuoteThe GOP only has a house majority because it gerrymandered the districts.
Huh? The GOP cannot gerrymander. Second, I live in Cali and gerrymandering is downright extreme here. And third, name a district that has not been gerrymandered. here are the ones I know of:
(1) Alaska
(2) Delaware
(3) Montana
(4) North Dakota
(5) South Dakota
(6) Vermont
(7) Wyoming
(8) District of Columbia
Because they only have one electoral district. Other than that, it's all been gerrymandered. Drawn and redrawn by the parties in power.
Yes, both parties are not blameless here. But the aggregate stats that Kallend provides show that Republicans do it to a greater degree. -

Look at the whole video for context
And then we can see what the Obama media does with it
If they do run with it, it would be a prime example of them overplaying their hand. The 47% video is devastating enough - no need to pile on. Besides which, other than the word choice for "harvest", what Romney's saying is not that different from your garden variety venture capitalist spiel. Nothing to see here.
