Parachute Club of Utti, founded in 1963, is the second biggest skydiving club in Finland considering the number of members and activity. Our 500+ members and skydivers visiting from other clubs make a total of 7,000-10,000 jumps every year. At the same time we train from 200 to 250 static line students and about 100 tandem students. During recent years the Parachute Club of Utti has arranged several skydiving events - for example Finnish Parachuting Nationals 2000 and 1996, Utti-Boogies 1999, 1995 and 1994. The jump aircrafts in these events have been AN-26, AN-28, Let-410, Twin Otter and Mi-8-helicopter. In 1998 there were also a few jumps from an AN-72-jet transporter in Utti. Skydiving Finnish nationals and training boogie, 23th-27th July, will be held at DZ Utti. Event includes style, accuracy, FS 4-way, FS 8-way, CF 4-way rotation, freestyle and freeflying.
