  1. It's a rare thing today to find customer service that is still alive. Never have I experienced a product being backed up like I have with Nancy and Jumpshack. Our lilttle DZ Freefall Oz has been flying one of her canopies for Tandems and the service and maintenance has been second to none. It is rare today to find a manufacturer that is willing to walk a mile to back up their product. Thank you Nancy for such professionalism and belief in your product. Thank you for the part you play in the skydiving industry. Cheers

  3. Freefall Oz is located in North Central PA on the NY/PA boarder. We're located between two states and 4 counties, so it gets difficult to say where we are half the time. It's a logistical nightmare sometimes. And marketing can be fun relative to where we actually belong! Our mailing address is Shinglehouse, PA but our location is Ceres, PA. However, there is no Ceres, PA just a Ceres, NY. Hope that helps Check us out at www.freefallozskydiving.com

  8. If you're ever in Pennsylvania, be sure and stop in to see Shelly, Bill Miller and the crew in Erie. What a wonderful group of people. We wanted to express our gratitude to these great folks. Words can not express how wonderful these people are and how much we appreciated all their help this weekend. This weekend was the inaugural weekend at The Freefall Oz Skydiving Center, also located in PA. Lot's of bumps along the way as expected, but with a party planned and Tandems booked, our plane was pulled at the last minute. Erie Skydivers to the rescue! We called Shelly, who we had never spoke to before, and told her our plight. Before we knew it, DZO's Shelly and Bill were calling their crew and arranging plane, pilot and jumpers to come to Freefall Oz for our inaugural weekend. Soon phone calls and e-mails were being exchanged and Friday came and at around 4:00 PM Bill Miller was jumping into Freefall Oz and Dale was landing the Erie Skydivers Plane. What a beautiful sight. Soon after the cars started to arrive, our new friends from Erie arrived one by one. Brian, Tim, Jer, Dan and Karen all came to support our start-up. Then, Shelly arrived baring gifts, great vibes and a helping hand for Ash and I, the newbie DZOs. Our inaugural weekend was about to begin. And, what a fantastic weekend it was. When the cloud base was too low for Tandems, the Erie Skydivers were more than happy to quickly get packed and repacked for a total of 13 loads from Friday afternoon through Saturday! About 100 spectators from the local community came out to watch the excitement and fun was had by all! Talk about sharing the love! We couldn't have done it without the support of DZOs Shelly and Bill Miller and the Erie Skydivers. We will forever be greatful for what they have done for us. A BIG THANK YOU to all who participated in our opening weekend and Ash's 45th birthday celebration. And, special thanks goes out to Chris and Stephen Whitley who flew up from Skydive Tallahassee to give a helping hand as well. All we can say is Erie Skydivers ROCK! Stop in to say hello to these wonderful people and our new friends in Erie, PA if you get a chance. Blue Skies, Ash and Celeine Easdon-Smith
  9. Linsdsey, Finnally, someone with the same taste in movies as me! I feel validated. Love Harold and Maude and Gummo is great, twisted entertainment. Top on my movie recommendations are Donnie Darko and Gummo. My favorites. Celeine
  10. I'm on my 3rd day of a fast and am hungry! I'm using a 5 day fasting program called Ultimate Fasting Cleanse by Natures Secret. They give you 5 different supplements including Super Nutrition tablets. This is my first time trying such a severe detox and I plan on seeing it through. But, I agree with the other posters that starvation is not a way to lose weight and am happy to hear your eating. I've done a 21 day detox that worked well and allowed me to eat throughout and loose weight as well. Although, I'm committed to following through the 5 days, I'm don't know if I'll do this again! My husband is cooking dinner and it smells really good. Just in time for my supplements, yummy! Good Luck. Celeine
  11. Hi Chuck, Yes, we did meet you at Maytown and thanks for your feedback. We will be visiting again soon. Ash is going to be seeing Dave in a couple weeks. Maybe, we will see you then. We have looked a leasing and didn't want to go there. We spoke to JR sometime ago and it may be worth reinvestigating. Thanks for the suggestions, Celeine
  12. Oh, JT I just watched Field of Dreams again the other night. Maybe that's why I said "the plane of our dreams" A little melodramic, I must admit, but..... I keep that quote "people will come..." in my mind and it keeps me going! Cheers, Celeine
  13. I knew posting here was a good idea! Lots to think about. I just spoke with MBNA. We'll see how that one goes. Already borrowed from from the family/friends to get started. Got the gear, got a deposit for a plane, looked at leasing - not alot of options there and WOW is it expensive. You'd end up working for the plane and be able to buy one outright with what they want. We've spoke to Falcon. Got the scoop on the that expense. But, are prepared to deal with it. We appreciate all the feedback and will keep plugging along and see how we go! Thanks! Celeine
  14. My husband and I are starting a new business. We just purchased a 122 acre property with an airstrip and have opened our home as a Fly In B&B and are looking to open a DZ this summer. We have found a 1956,C-182 that we would like to purchase for our venture, but are finding it difficult to find financing. Aircraft financing companies are saying the plane is too old, too inexpensive or just not interested in financing jump planes. As you can imagine, as a business start up,we have put everything into the purchase of our property and start up costs. Moreover, we have been utilizing "boot strap" financing to keep us afloat. Now, we've found the plane of our dreams and are at that point in our business start-up where we are so close yet so far away in making our dreams become a reality and need to finance this plane. Any ideas for us? We have never financed a plane and need advise. You can learn more about us at www.ozhomestay-huntinglodge.com Thank you for your assistance, Celeine Easdon-Smith
