I didn't say it's not going to go up at all. But there are just historic limits for gold. If I remember right I saw a study a few days ago which sayed Gold was around 1500$ in todays value during the great depression. So if it really should go up more there has to happen something drastict to the economy. If you belive that something this big will happen you might wanna consider investing in put options where you can make way more profit with less capital invested.

Heheh, that time is here again.

So rig "A" still only has a 33% of being right because we picked that out of the orignial 3, "B" and "C" collectivally have a 66% chance of having the good opening. Since B has been eliminated, "C" now has the 66% chance of being good due to variable change.

Horse Shit on the variable change :D Let me tell you how my brain does math.

Once "B" is eliminated you divy up its 33% between the remaining two rigs.

Regardless that you already picked "A", you still have a choice between one of two rigs. To me it doesn't matter that you already "picked" it.

Variable change my ass........I'll punch that Einstein prick right in the kidney if I ever see him. B|

    Heheh.

And lets not forget that a 1 with a hundred zeros behind it is actually called a google.

Or a 1 with a googol number of zeroes behind it is a googolplex.

Would that number be greater than all the atoms in the universe???:o

Maybeeee. I found a website that says it's estimated that there are between 10 to the 78 and 10 to the 81 atoms in the universe. That's not even a googol atoms. Much less a googolplexxxxx.

Ore is the key to the game!!! Build cities as soon as you can.

    Fun game..

Last couple times I've played I went the city building route. Seems to work good. I had 4 cities and 2 towns and won and 2nd place only had 4 points. Gotta build so you collect cards on almost every number that's rolled. :-D One game I was getting cards on everything except when 12 and 2 was rolled.

  6. Anybody here do tail wheel endorsements in mid California? Or know of a good place to do it? I'll be at Mammoth Mountain this winter (Kind of near Lake Tahoe area) and I want to do some tail wheel flying. Places down by L.A. or Perris or Elsinore or anything would work too. I'm planning on doing some trips down there anyways.

How does the jury work in survivor? This is my first season of watching.

Starting with last week, everyone that gets voted off is in the jury. Then they sit in on every tribal council until the final 2. Once the final 2 comes then the jury votes who they want to win. I think one season had them vote from the final 3 people.

  8. Here's a truly heartwarming story about the bond formed between a little
5-year-old girl and some construction workers that will make you believe
that we all can make a difference when we give a child the gift of our
    time.

A young family moved into a house, next to a vacant lot. One day, a
Construction crew turned up to start building a house on the empty lot.

The young family's 5-year-old daughter naturally took an interest in all
the activity going on next door and spent much of each day observing
    the workers.

Eventually the construction crew, all of them "gems-in-the-rough,"
more or less, adopted her as a kind of project mascot. They chatted
with her, let her sit with them while they had coffee and lunch
breaks, and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel
    important.

At the end of the first week, they even presented her with a pay envelope
containing ten dollars. The little girl took this home to her mother who
suggested that she take her ten dollars "pay" she'd received to the bank
the next day to start a savings account.

When the girl and her mom got to the bank, the teller was equally
impressed and asked the little girl how  she had come by her very own
pay check at such a young age. The little girl proudly replied,
"I worked last week with a real construction crew building the new
    house next door to us."

"Oh my goodness gracious," said the teller, "and will you be working
on the house again this week, too?"

The little girl replied, "I will, if those
assholes at Home Depot ever deliver the fuckin' sheet rock..."
