    Did you try the bios thing above, it worked for me

    Okay, just found a fix! Go into your BIOS and check to see what setting the PCI latency is set to. Chances are its 32, change to 64 and see if that does it. did for me!!

    I have exactly the same problem. I can hit record first, or play the timeline, but it all slows down at this point, and i have to quit.
