  1. Go to the Cook Islands, they speak english. It's not far from Tahiti 400-500 miles. The island of Aitutaki is what Bora Bora was before expensive hotels and polution.

  2. This is the first day of jumping, has anyone heard any news yet? Practice and smaller formations for a few days then the 400 ways start. Please post any news. Thanks

  3. That's Angie Everhart, she was with Sly Stalone for many years. She is a good Freeflyer. I have seen her at Perris many times but not in the last few years. Many times when they sign contracts they can't do "extreme stuff".

  4. Drafted in the Army in 1969, at 20. My last name started with R so all the R's went to Artillery MOS. Again all the lastnames begining with R went to Vietnam, then 149 out of a battery of 150 went to Vietnam. Thirteen months there then discharge to inactive reserves.

  5. Every time you leave the plane you are going to die, unless you do something to prevent it happening. You either throw out that pilot chute, pull that reserve and land safely. The only exception is maybe a Cypress, but even then without your intervention a small canopy can spell disaster. That's an intrigal part of skydiving, and what makes it safer, is your doing the right things to land safely.
You have your life in your hands, (with the help of some good equipment), on every jump.

  6. Rosa, Under Armour is 100% polyester (except maybe the winter versions) $50.
Wal-Mart has their brand X which is also 100% polyester for $14. I have both and they feel the same to me.
The logo, although cool is expensive.

  7. Happy Birthday Kate. It's not the years that matter, it's how we live the next, and next and many more years to come.
When I was your age I still had 5 more years to go before learning to skydive (how depressing it that).

  8. Val, if you like living in a city with everything, San Diego. Good weather, beach, great resturants (even a hooters) and four DZ's within an hours drive.
