MaxxMy Hero4 Black also failed after 3 weekends in use. The sensor is giving me some green/yellow lines and artefacts now every once in a while. No SD Card issue, tried 3 different ones...
Waiting for a replacement since 2 weeks now.
Hi Max
Welcome to the Club. Same issue. Send my Hero4 black back to Amazon for a refund. My Hero3 Black is also having issues.provehito in altum -
My Max Reading was 94mph (TAS, VISO) doing a 360 on a Paratec R.A.G.E. 86 @ 2.2.
I´ve got my Viso in June last year and after the first few jumps with it, i send my Cypres 2 back to airtec, to change it to Swoop mode.
Now, on a couple of jumps i logged readings of 86-92 mph for more then 2 sec.

Hi
and i´ve land my 86 just only with the rears!! no toggles! at 0 knots wind! on the R.A.G.E. it is possible to pull the rears more then 6inch down and the wing is still not stalling.

HiQuoteIt's not a skybarge, but I jump thiner airfoils usually.
Which one?? i compared the foil of the 107 and the 86 with the foil of a same sized velocity and the R.A.G.E. is 1 inch thinner!
to the breaklines, maybe the line would be run through the toggle grommet 2 or 3 times. (was the demo on risers?) at normal lineset the breakline should be about more then 1 inch to long.

Hi
why not?? i saw speed reserves deployed by cypres at high over 300km/h (185mph/161 knots) and there are no damage to the lines or the fabric. the speed reserve has all state of the art reinforcements
blues
Frank
i also saw videos of droptest for the tandem speed reserve. 250kg deployed at a topspeed of near 500km/h. just a steeringline break.provehito in altum -
Hi
if you want a small packing reserve, have a look for the Paratec Speed 2000. a few weeks ago we put a speed 190 in a rig build for a tempo 135.

Don´t know the exact price but just ask [email protected] also for demo´s and all the other stuff

FrankQuoteI don't know if anybody asked it already, but what's the pack volume?? are there demos available? how much is it? how long do you have to wait until you get one? and all that good stuff..

QuoteQuoteWith such small air inlets I wonder how are the openings...
I wonder how long it takes to deflate once you're on the ground Maybe the vacuum-pack will come back in style soon.
Hi
it handle like a normal ram air canopy. only when you pack it, the air "stuck" a little bit.
by the way, the last 10 landings i land my 86 with nothing but rear risers. at all wind conditions and no fell of getting close to a stall.

QuoteThe Zerox is a Vector clone, or at least it was origionally.
hi
yes the old zerox was a vector clone, the new zerox
is a next clone!
blues
Look for reviews of the paratec next container, both are the same exept for the pin cover.
And yes, the Zerox/Next is very freefly friendly, no need for extra riser cover.i jump Next now in the 7th year

HI
about 300m, very soft, and on heading
a fired brake is no big deal, just lean on the side the brake get lost.

From May 20th to May 23rd, Skydive Center Spa / Belgium will be under the Free Fly banner. The name of the Event already says it all and the large list of famous Load Organizers is the guarantee not only for quality jumps but also for a lot of Fun. And for the planes: No problem! Besides our very own Grand Caravan, we will operate another Grand Caravan and a "normal" Caravan.
The cherry on the cake: In order to avoid waiting queues at the registration and avoid a lot of paperwork, you have the possibility to supply your complete information through the Net. So when arriving at the drop Zone, you will immediately be ready to manifest for your first jump!
Price of the jump will be the normal price at Skydive Center Spa, i.e.: from Euros 18,- to 24,- (depending on the number of jump tickets you buy) for 4.000+ meters.
Organization costs Euros 20.- for advance registration, Euros 25.- for registration on site
For that price you will find at Skydive Center Spa Freefly Festival all you can wish for such an Event: Tube Jumps, Track Dives, Indy Races, Fun Jumps, Large screen Video, 1o1 Instructor jumps with the 1. Belgian Freefly School, party with Live Band, Cocktail Bar and much more ...

Quote1200 feet?? Err that's quite a lot more than any canopy I've ever jumped out there for a 360. Sure you got the alti correct, and what are you using to determine it? Or is your dz just very high msl?
Blue ones,
Ian
hi
i determine the altitude with my suunto observer watch and the DZ is at about 1200 feet msl

QuoteYes.
Also, Asaf Fischelson was jumping a Paratec R.A.G.E 107 at Deland this weekend. He said he liked it.
Hi
me to, i love my 86 R.A.G.E.
just could make 3 jumps this weekend, very windy (lows 15 knots highs 25-30 knots)
very sweet openings, looong recovery arc (360° turn must be started at about 1200 feet) and nice 100feet swoops (remember 15-30 knots wind)
can´t wait for better weather.
blues
Frank
to everybody who want´s to see and maybe fly the 86 R.A.G.E.
Sebastian is in Lake Wales/ Z-Hills until this weekend
look for a white with orange ribs canopy

Frank
i can´t belive it, everbody is talking about the missing entry but nobody
remember that it is a 400feet swoop in a crosswind condition, (the world record was just 16 feet away.)
blues
Frank
Quote
It looked like maybe a 45 degree crosswind, and his swoop was straight in line with the course, just on the outside of the blades.
I think the cross/down wind set up had him come out of his dive too far downwind. If he had been more over the water before the swoop, he would have been in a better position. As for the spectators, at least they can run fast....
Quotethat video showed someone missing a swoop course in its entirety and nearly running over some spectators. Nice.
yes he "miss" the course because of the 10knots crosswind he decided to go outside the course and the total swoop was about 400feet
