You got Me. I guess after 19 years I forgot how 'abnormal' skydivers are. Let me rephrase my earlier post: 'big enough for 3-4 normal size people'.

Any Magee MS Skydivers Out There

circle M had a 10 way meet there in '77 or '78, with a skyvan, first turbine I ever jumped. -
Yep, got a '77 Wonderhog with a strato-star and a 26' navy conical, complete with belly band, leather altimeter chest mount and a jump suit big enough for 3-4 normal people. Anybody want to give it a try?

How did everyone get into skydiving?

Did my training in '75 with the same equipment. Remember when anyone with 1000 jumps was a major skygod? -
Made my first jump in 19 years on Saturday. It all came back to me in an instant, and I am proud to say the evaluator signed me off and wrote 'welcome back'. Funny how I've always identified as a jumper even when I had not jumped in a long time. Looking forward to more fun days at the d.z., maybe I can show some newbies how to do good old fashioned f.s., what I really enjoy. It's good to be back.

I was on a DC3 that year that lost an engine at about 5k, so everyone immediately exited, we all landed way out and a woman got bitten by one of those BIG Fla. rattlesnakes!

Remember two jumpers got into a wrap and landed on the packing building?
-
Remember Doc Lindens Seagoville D.Z.? Lots of fun with Bob out there.

Mr. Douglas, Our Douglas, Agent Orange, Firestone, Colonel Joe, Baby Blue, jumped em all.

Hang in there. Started in 1975, it was just as much fun then, but a lot more dangerous. -
Remember sleeping on the ride to altitude?
