  1. 1. i've noticed that many photographers use sony PC models. there are few other models (i think HC) that are small and seem to fit for the same work. so what is so special in the PC series ?

    2. does anyone know bad things about the PC109 - besides it's '1mp only' stills and the special adaptor need to be used?
i can get it in a good price, but don't know if it worth...

    thanks,
    Ori.

  2. hello,
my DZ is at sea level. i live on a mountain (approx. 1kf).
until today i used not to trun off my Cypress (1) because people told me it won't use the battery, and will turn off automatically after 14 hours.
but today someone told me that because i'm living on a mountain, the cypress have to work all that way up and therefor i should trun it off...
    should i?

    thanx,
    Ori.

i planned to come next week to jump in Texel, and maybe Hilversum or Teague as well, and bring my own rig with me. but according to the forecast on the net - there are showers all over Holland and i don't want to carry the rig for nothing :( WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

on the web it looks pretty bad. is it so?!
do you have any jumps at all on these weeks?

  8. i guess it's an individual feeling, but my problem was with look at OTHER people going out of the plane in my first +-20 jumps, though i hadn't any problem to get out myself. i did AFF, and i think the good thing in AFF is that you'r not alone in the sky on those weirdy first times. you'r with the instructors.
you open your canopy after being in contact with them for the whole (long!) part of the falling. i think it's easier. and as someone wrote here before - why not to try a tandem before? - i know that at my homeDZ they started now with tandem as PAC1...

good luck, let her think about it, and no matter what you choose - stay safe and have fun!

    blue sky,

  9. i got here many answers for so many questions i had at my beginning (there is always and still a lot to learn!!!) - which i really appreciate a lot. so i decided to put here pics from a sitfly (one of my first ones) 2 months ago.
i got my new freefly suit this week, but haven't try it nor photo it yet. i promise to put pics with it too when i'll have some ;)

without the help from you - good people on these forums, i guess i couldn't like the air the way i do.

    blue sky and be safe!

i kept me legs in movement all the time, and flexed them while doing the spirals (i once hop and poped on 4900 so i had a lot of time for doing those spirals;)). i also took some long breaths in the plane on the way up (for keep my body with enough oxigen). well thanx again everyone - u helped me a lot here!
