  1. Does anyone know for DZ in Bahamas? Or better yet had anyone jump there? I read on web that there is one in Freeport but without any information. Thanks
  2. I have 150 CC for over 50 jumps now and I have never had any hard opening. I followed suggestion from Atair on using 24" zero-p kill line collapsible, open in a forward track, straight pro-packing, roll the tail tight, microline small rubber bands double stow lines, keep hands at your sides until the canopy is in full inflated flight. I have the opposite story, the openings are so soft that it takes few seconds to open. Great canopy.
  3. Hi, Does anyone knows is there any rigger and/or advanced packer course in Austria or Germany? Thks and blue skies
  4. I thought I could attach holder for light video camera to a second holder for dytter so I can open and close visor or behind that on fix part of helmet so that visor can move. I have never jumped with camera. As I don't have enough money to buy myself special gear for all activities I thought I could use existing but as you said attachment to Havok will not be strong enough to hold a camera and that answeres my question. Thks
  5. Hi, As I don't have any experience with having any camera on my head while skydiving, recently I had a need to use video camera and there was a question. I have RW full face HAVOK from Bonehead composites and I would like to use it for mounting video camera because camera helmets are expensive and I really don't want to get into camera work. You understand my problem, should I use existing helmet for occassionaly filming or should I save money and buy a camera helmet even for light camera work? What are the risks with Havok? Thks
  6. I mailed to Performance Variable and they answered to me "Sorry ,but there is no possibility for installing them on a Quick". But when I looked at Quick's manual, under "suspension line links" is stated "Stainless-steel Mini Link or Soft Links". After all I read here, I think it is legal to install PD SR-1 to Quick. Blue Skies
  7. Thks, I will try to make a contact
  8. What's your opinion on having a PD Soft Links on reserve (PD or other manufacturer reserve) in general?
  9. Does anybody knows is there a rigging course in Europe? Thks
  10. Thks for answers, I would like to do RW and tandem Camera work and my profile is accurate.
  11. Hi, I would like to start with camera work and now I'm considering a camera suite and camera helmet. As for helmet, please advice is the Bonehead composites Flat-top pro worth the money or is there a helmet similar to this one but cost less. For camera suite, please help me with wings, should I take smaller or bigger? If bigger, should attachment be front of thigh or side seam? Thks and blue skies
  12. When packing main (I'm using PRO pack), I don't know at what should I pay the most attention? I know that all pack jobs should be perfect but when there is no time and I have to pack quickly what are the steps that should never be packed quickly? Does anybody know, is there some webpage with reserve packing method step by step? I'm also interested if some of you have any DVD or VHS with reserve packing that really helped you so I can buy one? Thks
  13. Hi, Does anybody know for what canopie sizes is Wings W12-1 for? Where on the body should hackey sack be when the rig is fit for you, on the level with hips or some higher? Does wider part of leg straps should overlap when it is fitted for you or it doesn't metter? Thks
  14. That was my question, yes, should I keep existing line covers together with SRC's or should I install only SRC's. Finally, yesterday I took Slinks and install them without line covers, with only SRC's because there is simply no room for both. Blue skies
  15. I have Cobalt competition 150 and if you take a look at Atair website, you can see that for my size of canopie recommended P/C is 24". I believe every manufacturer should have tested their canopies and recommend P/C size for them. Blue skies
