We have visited this dropzone a couple of times. It seems an accident waiting to happen. A lot of skydivers with big egos and not so big skills and nobody to look after them. These guys do a jumprun against the wind with freeflyers exiting first and flat flyers after them. And you never know how many seconds delay the keep after you. There has been a local FS 3-way breaking off just above my teammate's canopy. One of those guys opened ~20m on the left and the second on the right side between my teammate and me. The only comment from DZ staff was: 'maybe they drifted a little'. Another thing is opening altitude and breakoffs. Don't be surprised if a group before you or after you opens higher without prior notice. Just ad-hoc high opening because 'the spot was a little bit bad and we thought we open higher to get back to DZ'. Even if the spot was just OK. And if you plan to do some bigger formations with local guys then I recommend you to get a locker position and track the hell out after breakoff. Because these guys are quite lazy trackers and some of them open higher than others. You don't want to be in base because you have nowhere to track then. And keep your eyes open during the landing. Be prepared that people come from different directions and cut you off in final. My teammate was nearly killed when a local guy with his new small canopy crossed the way 20m from landing. Quick rear riser input saved them both this time. We made a lot of noise about this and the guy was sent to buy some beer. Otherwise nobody gave a damn. So keep your eyes open. There is no groundmaster to look after skygods.
  2. You might or might not get what you pay for. Last year two of my friends ordered suits with exactly the same options. They were charged exactly the same. One of the suits had leg zips, one of them did not. This year one of my friends ordered a suit with back of arm grips. He paid for them. He did not get them. I ordered a suit online in the end of February. I got an automatic order confirmation, then an e-mail that leg zips are not available with that kind of bootie. OK about that. Then later I noticed that 50$ more is taken from my credit card. I contacted Tonysuit and they said that I used old order form. Well, I used online order form and they sent me the order confirmation earlier. They said they are sorry but I had to pay 50$ more. Finally I got the suit. Back of arm gips were missing. Sent them an e-mail, got an answer a week later. Sent the suit back on my own expense. Got the suit back from warranty repair. Jumped it once. The suit broke under the arm. Contacted Tonysuit again and sent it back again for warranty repair. This time they paid for the delivery. I got the suit back today. The have patched it, not replaced the arm part. So I ordered suit in the end of February and finally got it in beginning of July. Paid 50$ more to Tonysuit and 100$ extra for transportation and customs broker. But the damn thing fits and flies good. I hope that it will not break again.
